Hes being able to milk his fans fighting the likes of (forgot their names but whoever his last opponents were)... why would he want to fight a top fighter?

Two things before i respond to any of your silly agenda driven post:

-Ortiz is not 48. That you pulled a random number out your ass without evidence is proof you're biased.

-im still waiting for you to provide evidence of me claiming that i was a "greatly knowledgeable poster" Mr. insecure. Keep ducking.

A draw is a close fight. If fury honestly thought he schooled him it shouldn't tske 2 tune ups and a year to rematch and set the record straight. Whem people thought mayweather and ward lost to maidana and kovalev they gave immediate rematches.

Look at what happened to Joshua in the ruiz fight and then tell me its a good idea to play the waiting game and "build" a fight. We literally just saw Fury's career in jeapordy because of a cut against a no name opponent.

How long did it take you to come up with that?

it's incredible that a bum like wilder ruthlessly dropped fury twice and he made it out in one piece. It's incredible there was a biased ref who counted slow and made him take a step.

How can you say this, when he's signed a 5 fight deal with Arum, with the goal of making the rematch as big as possible?

If he didn't want it, he'd never have signed the ESPN deal.

You really think he hid from a guy who he psyched out and beat in Germany?

There's no logic to that theory.

He's signed a 5 fight deal with ESPN and Bob Arum.

Of course the rematch is going to happen.

It was the most brutal heavyweight knockdown id seen since Holmes shavers 2 and just as crazy of comeback. You're free to disagree but if you think fury took his time getting up I have to question your boxing knowledge. About 99% of the people watching thought the fight was over at that moment.

Yes, playing the waiting game is highly dangerous.

    It's HW boxing.

I'm merely pointing out that this is ESPN and Arum's plan.

Tyson is not ducking a rematch with Wilder.

The whole point of them coming together is to make the rematch as big as possible.

Tyson has entered the WWE circus with the sole intention of raising his profile.

Any talk of him being scared etc is just laughable nonsense.

But this just proves how silly your thread is.

He got up, carried on, and has since signed a huge deal in order to fight a rematch.

Yet you're saying that he doesn't want it, despite Arum saying the complete opposite and giving him as much exposure to the U.S. public as he possibly can.

Anybody who thought that he'd fight Wilder in his first fight of a 5 fight contract doesn't understand the sport.

Maybe they can attack him en masse in front of his wife and children like they so classily did to Breazeale.

I question Fury commitment to boxing now, yes he’s in pretty good shape now, but his run up to the Klitschko fight was against far better opponents than he is fighting now, and they were not even top ten fighters either(Cunningham, Chisora and Hammer).

Fury is making himself more of a joke than Wilder now, and that is saying a lot. I do not know what his motives, I can only assume he is making the most money the easiest way he can.

whatever his motives ,his fights are a waste of time watching, only watched the Wilder fight since his comeback. For all the talk about being a real fighting man, he now avoids real fights more than any other current top heavyweight. Fury’s rise has been bad for heavyweight boxing.

There's no need to question his commitment when he's come back after 3 years out and has just signed a huge 5 fight deal with ESPN.

How can his rise be bad for HW boxing?

    That's absurd.

The division is much more interesting with him as a part of it.

Because of the joke fights he’s taking.

Watching a top heavyweight fight sub top twenty heavyweights one after another is embarrassing, and just disappointing fans again and again. Nobody should be making excuses for his choice of opponents, he’s just ripping off his fans.

I gave Wilder a lot of stick for his opponents after he won the WBC title. Fury is doing the same and now with the wrestling nonsense it is worse than Wilder.

I'm not sure why you're trying to spin and rewrite history. I've followed Fury closely, if anyone was psyched out, it was Fury who simply did not want to fight Wlad again, you can tell by his words and actions during the build up to Fury/Wlad 2. Wlad had a stone cold demeanor and was absolutely ready for the rematch while Fury brought out every excuse in the book on why Wlad should win, the man simply DID NOT want to give the long reigning legendary HW champ his due rematch, it was a sad sight to see.

He beat an unmotivated Wlad on a 10 year title reign in a dull fight where 5 clean punches were landed, didn't think he could do it again vs a motivated Wlad so he became depressed, started doing heavy drugs, gained 500 pounds and effectively stalled the HW division almost 2 years.

Him signing a 5 fight deal with Bob Arum means absolutely nothing, Arum has no good heavyweights and is gonna stall Fury's career just like he's doing with Crawford. How does Fury fighting bums make the rematch as big as possible? Fury's stock dropped drastically his last fight and is now looking to "wrestle" in the WWE... no comment. If the Fury/Wilder rematch happens within the next 1 to 2 years then I'll eat my words but I just don't see it happening.

Why are peoplen so delusional? Fury is lucky to be alive even though he stood up and had Wilder stunned and reeling backwards seconds after.
