    Poor Hearn.

One of the biggest debates on this board and plenty of talk about this before Fury Wilder III and Joshua Usyk I, with the likes of @Brixton Bomber vehemently defending Joshua's mediocre record.

    Fury - the "names".
    Klitschko
    Wilder
    Wilder
    Wilder
    Cunningham
    Wallin
    Whyte
    Chisora
    Chisora

    Fury - the circumstances
Dethroned Klitschko, a decade-long defending champion, in Germany, after having been messed about by Klitschko in the build-up re: gloves and ring. Did so by outboxing him and even the dodgy judges couldn't rob him.

Went to America to dethrone a five year defending champion who was undefeated. Did it after coming back from drugs, morbid obesity, suicidal thoughts and general mental health issues. Went straight in after facing two cans, in the space of 6 months. Got robbed on the cards after outboxing Wilder. Second bout did it again in America - put on an offensive masterclass. Third bout - out of shape and bad preparation, nearly lost his baby daughter, outfought Wilder in a dogfight.

Fought in 50/50's right from the second year in his career. Learned on the job.

Has shown he can come back from the depths in and out of the ring.

Has won bouts in every possible way - in the small ones and in the big ones, AWAY from home.

    Sold out record breaking arenas.

Has won every single belt available to him, including the lineal recognition.

Has to endure unprofessionalism by the Tony Pulis of boxing and got popped for sos when no top level boxer with resources should ever be getting popped.

    Joshua - the "names"

    Klitschko
    Paint Dry
    Rice Pudding Jr
    Pulev
    Povetkin
    Whyte

    The circumstances

    Got gifted the olympic gold.

Been in two 50/50 bouts in his entire career

All wins bar one, which was on Saudi soil, on home soil with the comfort of referees and judge in his favour. Solid heated gold toilet seat in his dresser.

Managed to lose to a morbidly obese 5'11'' man by being dropped four times and then giving up. Is seemingly in no rush to get back to America. Soon to be 33 year old heavyweight superstar with all of the marketability in the world - zero wins in the Big Apple.

Has only shown one way to box, except circling Rice Pudding Jr who was more fit for 'My 600lb Life' than a Heavyweight World Championship contest.

Gasses out after a handful of rounds and cannot take a punch.

Likes to make funny noises in his corner after being battered

Does a good Carlton dance when hit.

Has benefited from every advantage possible outside of the ring unlike Fury with the unprofessionalism of Tony Pulis and getting popped for sos. Sossed to the max and no problems.

Has not won every belt available to him and has never been the man to beat the man - won his first title only because Fury was stripped and won it via. brown envelope versus a no-hoper in Martin who came to dive.

    The verdict

Fury's record is considerably better as he has boxed the better names, away from home, been in more 50/50's since the start of his career, is undefeated, shown that he can win in a variety of ways against top level opponents. Is a crossover star in America, also, while Joshua is a laughing stock over there.

Always makes me laugh how Wilder seems to be compared once, he thought him 3 times. Fury fought higher level.

Dethroned two established champions in there backyard and then knocked a better version of Dillian Whyte out in front of 94,000 people.

    That'll do it for me.

    Fury best wins

    1. Wlad
    2. Whyte
    3. Chisora x2
    4. Wilder x 3

One loss to McDermott (should have been but O'connor robbed McDermott).

    AJ best wins

    1. Wlad
    2. Povetkin
    3. Whyte
    4. Parker
    5. Ruiz
    6. Pulev

AJ has lost to Ruiz and Usyk.

Seems clear cut looking at that AJ has better record of two.

Whyte is AJ third best opponent he has beaten but Furys second. Whilst all 6 of AJ best opponents are better than Furys third best in Chisora and fourth best opponent Wilder.

Joshua has two L's and lost his straps. Why even compare them?

I think Fury does have the best CV, quite comfortably now.

AJ has some good wins, but also some bad losses, particularly the Ruiz beat down

Hearn was never bitter like this before. Only in last two or three years.

Lol Wilder would knock out every single fighter on AJ's record except maybe Wlad.... who Fury dethroned before AJ went life and death with him.

He's then also knocked a less raw, more experienced and better version of Whyte out in less rounds without coming close to getting rocked.

It always makes me laugh how people try and big up Any Ruiz. Yeah, he's much better than you'd expect for a short fat man who is only fighting at heavyweight because he's morbidly obese, but in the grand scheme of things he isn't actually a very good heavyweight. Him beating Joshua wasn't just embarrassing for Joshua, it was embarrassing for boxing to have someone like that as heavyweight world champion.

What? Ruiz has the fastest hands in the history of boxing! His hands move like a flyweight but feel like a prime tyson. Ruiz is arguably the 2nd greatest boxer ever behind Sir Anthony.

Fury deserves to be recognised as the no1 heavyweight.as for who has the better record I’d edge it to fury but there really isn’t much in it imo.lot of it comes down to how high you rate Deontay wilder.the fact people need to write out wilders name separately 3x and chisora’s name 2x when appraising the fury resume tells you it isn’t great.

Fury beats genuine world champions when no one else can, AJ doesn't. That's the difference.

Also, Fury fought Wilder three times. That's bloody huge in this debate. We're talking about three fights with an absolutely devastating puncher. Fights where he touched the canvass heavy and came back and won.

AJ and Usyk may be able to beat Wilder in once off but no way are they fighting Wilder three times and not losing at least one of them.

povetkin, ruiz and pulev are absolute gash, having their names on your cv is hardly something great to brag about

If AJ beat Usyk, he'd have an argument, but he didn't and I don't think he ever will beat him. Fury's is better.
