Fury easily has a better record than Joshua

I wouldn't say Whyte has cemented Fury's resume, look how easily he beat Whyte he won all 5 rounds then knocked him out. What it has done is expose how weak Joshua's resume is as Whyte has been regarded as AJ's best win or at least his second by the AJ nuthuggers and Whyte has beaten most of AJ's best wins.

Proper fans know Whyte is only on the level of Chisora and Fury has a lot of better wins but him actually going out beating him so easily proves what we knew.

 

Yes. It does not add much extra to Fury's record. He did the job we knew he would do. Whyte beat Chisora in 2018 but Whyte 2022 is not even good as Chisora in 2014 on Fury record. Funny how much Dillian get paid and still complaints! I have doubts Whyte can beat Wallin.

 

At this point there can be no argument that Fury has cemented his place at the top. As a fan of either, you’ll always make an argument for your man having the better CV etc and you’ll not change any opposite opinions.

At this stage, Fury is definitely a case of quality over quantity and potentially what could of been with his talent and three wasted years. AJ has undoubtedly achieved more in a short career with far less natural ability and amazing promotion.

I like both fighters but for the CV reason alone, it would tickle me if Usyk quietly unified the division by beating AJ again and then Fury before humbly returning to the Ukraine as an out and out ATG.

 

What’s your prediction for how it’ll play out?

I think Fury will see how the Joshua/Usyk situation resolves itself, meanwhile he’ll mess around doing WWE and that exhibition with Francis.

Regardless who wins (particularly Joshua) there’ll be immense pressure for Fury to ‘unretire’ and go for unification in late 2022/early 2023.

Paris Fury basically let slip this is the plan.

That wouldn’t surprise me either - I think he’s a bit wary of Usyk and rightly so.

 

I said the resumes were getting closer after fury beating wilder but for me Joshua's is still better.

Both beat klitschko, both beat whyte.

Fury has beat wilder, chisora, wallin

Joshua has pulev, povetkin, Parker,, ruiz, takam. If we want to throw in c level fighters he's got Martin and breazeale and fury has cunningham.

Joshua's is better imo. Some will say fury beat a younger klitschko, I say joshua beat a more motivated klitschko with a point to prove.

AJ has also been in with usky fury hasn't.

 

Until he vacates, I don’t for one second think Fury has retired. It was only September that he was announcing his big 5 fight plan. I think he’ll pray for an AJ win and then say he’s bowing to public pressure to knock out the bodybuilder at Wembley. If Usyk beats AJ, especially if it’s more impressively than last time, then Fury has a legacy making decision on his hands.

 

Your missing out that Fury beat Wilder 2x and drew with him in what a lot of people thought he won in America where AJ hasn't won to my knowledge. A lot of AJ fan boys like chalking that off as one win. Each time he beat him it adds a massive win arguably better than any individual win on AJ's resume.

Also he signed to fight bottle job Haye twice when he was regarded as some sort of heavyweight great.

Fury actually beat Wladimir in Germany unlike AJ and he actually beat a more experienced Whyte too.

 

No way he can hack the home life with Paris and the kids. He will be back. As for resume, last time i checked Joshua had two losses on his record.
