The point about the contract, whether you believe a deal could have been brokered or not, is that both Hearn and Joshua both outright refused the 50 million as they did not wish to fight in america

They're on record stating as such and Barry Hearn himself was on twitter celebrating rejecting the 50 million deal. Matchroom and Joshua are record stating they wished to wait until 2020 to fight because they didn't feel ready and Joshua complained about Wilder having more experience.
