looks like Fury refused to be tested when the UKAD showed up to test him looks like he pulled out knowing he was going to be caught and is trying to avoid the fallout.
    • World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury is embroiled in a fresh doping scandal amid claims he recently missed a drugs test.

As reports emerged that he had been found to be medically unfit to fight, we can reveal the fighter refused to undergo a check when visited by inspectors from UK Anti-Doping.

A source said: “Tyson was visited by testers over the last few weeks but just refused. He said, ‘F*** off’, and wouldn’t do it. His camp tried to contact UKAD to get him tested but to date that has not taken place.”
Athletes who are found to have refused a drugs test or tampered with their sample face a minimum FOUR YEAR ban, according to officials.

When the Sunday Mirror contacted Fury’s uncle, Peter Fury, he said: “This is all confidential information so I can’t discuss anything relating to UKAD allegations.

“It’s private information and I’m not allowed to divulge anything about the doping allegations at all, period.”

Sophie Ashcroft, from UK Anti-Doping, said: “UK Anti-Doping does not comment on cases until due process has been completed.”

It says he refused to be tested, not that he failed. It looks terrible either way though.

Fury is spending money like crazy. I think he will try to renegotiate his cut soon too. It's all a money ploy.

This latest incident could just be a symptom of his mental illness to be fair. A normal person would of taken the test, someone mentally ill wouldn't always do what is prudent.

But I am pretty certain Fury has been doping, if not now, then previously. He was charged by UKAD for doping offences and he would be banned already had he not be appealing the decision. We'll know soon enough though, I think his NADP hearing for his appeal is on the 4th Nov.

But this latest offence will likely lead to a further longer ban. He would of likely been only banned for 2 years for the first offence this 2nd offence will make it 4 years. Suffice to say any extended period off from the sport will likely end his career. He balloons up to 300lbs plus between fights, imagine how much weight he'll put on if he can't fight for 2-4 years, especially while on meds for his mental health.

There is no question he will be banned and stripped by the UK BBBOC on November 4th. Question is only how long will he be banned for.

I believe tyson does suffer from depression at times but at the same time he is not stupid . I find it hard to believe that he was not aware that refusing a test would make the news and look extremely bad. This will only give more reasoning to strip him.

Imagine how tyson would react if he got ko'd and actually lost? He might top himself especially if he talks a lot of smack during the build up and gets his ass handed to him and his opponents talks smack after defeating him.

It certainly is a strange story. If the rumours of mental health problems are true then he deserves support from boxing fans. This latest allegation could well be related to that.

I'd tell UKAD to f--k off too.

It's weird how the anti-doping gestapo have forced themselves into sport and into the homes of private citizens, and everyone goes along with it. Anti-doping is just a blackmail racket and an invasion of privacy.
