People don't like Fury. I get it. And people love Usyk. I get it too. I love Usyk as well. But i also like Fury. On paper this is a great matchup for Fury and everyone who says otherwise don't really get the point. Saying that...Fury is declining physically (a lot of injuries recently including surgery) and probably mentally while Usyk is all business and fighting for the pride of his country. I can definitely see Usyk winning and beating Fury. But Fury is the rightful favorite and if he prepares well and is 100% focused i think he edges the fight 116-112 or 115-113.

People just don't see that Fury won't allow Usyk to fight his fight like AJ did. Fury is also a different beast physically.

Yeah and against Klitscho, Fury was missing widly. He also missed widly in the first Wilder fight. People are making like it was a shoutout, when in reality against Klitschko, Fury won rounds by just throwing and land like 1-2 arm punches more.
It was more of a case Klitschko not show up in the match, than Fury being that unstoppable/great.

Also Walling exposing him badly, and he is regressing since that. He almost lost to a 2 round cardio fighter like Wilder in the 3rd bout.
It's not just Cunningham that is featherfisted, but also Pajkic, who is an absolutely featherfisted as well. The guy had just 5 KO in his 17 wins.
On top of that Usyk is southpaw which will give Fury all kind of problems.

I just don't see how Fury can beat Usyk. He needs a very paid off referee that will allow him to foul all night long, and the reality of the fight would have been an easy DQ win for Usyk.

Clinching is one thing, when the two man collide in close, but holding and leaning is absolutely illegal, and should have been punish more strictly in the past. I hope Fury stop getting credit for his illegal cheating tactics.

The guy is going to fall big time. He doesn't have the power and explosiveness of AJ, hell he doesn't have the speed and snappiness on AJ punches as well. Usyk has nothing to fear about him, except for Fury illegal/cheating tactics, that any normal referee will stop, warn, take a point and if necessary DQ him for that.

Fury looks great against people who stand in front of him - like Wilder or cross-legged Whyte - so he can pressure them.

Usyk has too much lateral movement and he would reset Fury all night.

When Fury loses, expect the British media to turn on him, the casual moron glory supporter "fans" to turn against him, and for his mental health issues to reappear.

Fury acting like a complete d*ck as usual once again sets him up for a bigger fall.

The British media ran him out of the country and turned him towards 400lbs of obesity because he became persona non-grata and toxic and if he carries on being a complete bell-end he'll lose all his goodwill that he built up since his comeback.

Agree 100% with all of this.

Usyk is on another level in terms of ring craft and IQ.

They fought almost a decade ago, Fury has improved significantly since. (Fighters can actually improve over time I'll have you believe).

Your argument is really really lazy.

Fighters also regress over time. The Fury that merced Wilder in the second fight is no longer with us.

Father time catches up with his all. Can we agree that Fury has so much more in his locker than he did ten years ago?

Impossible to tell whether that version of Fury is gone. He made Whyte look like Bambi on ice not that long ago. And yes I'm fully aware that Whyte is not on Fury's and Usyk's level.

Fury always fights to the level/threat of his opponent and should he fight Usyk he will be in top shape no doubt about it . Usyk will also be in top shape and then we will see who the better fighter is . Usyk simply does not punch hard enough to keep Fury honest and prevent him from using every bit of his size/strength to try and overwhelm him. Fury would take the fight straight to Usyk from the first bell and not make the same mistake Joshua did in both fights by showing Usyk too much respect .

Father Time is snorting coke at Fury's place as we speak. Yes, Fury's leaps and bounds better than he used to be (hugest improvement I've ever seen in a fighter) but he's also on the physical downslide and if only a few of his key traits start to become eroded it'll greatly change the dynamic and potential outcome of this fight.

Hard to read anything from his last fight vs Whyte, but I'm of the opinion at least that Fury's lost his legs, and against Usyk that makes him ripe for the Holmes Spinks treatment.

Joshua fought a near perfect fight for him in the second fight. Yes he wasn't recklessly wading in like a Joyce but he was picking his shots and trying to make them count every time he threw because that's what would have afforded him the best chance of success.

As for Usyk not punching hard enough to keep Fury honest, you better believe he does. Fury does not have a great chin, and will be rocked by Usyk if he just tries to walk through him. Maybe not badly enough to be dropped, but if you're stunned against Usyk, even slightly, you open yourself up to the death by a thousand hands.

Sorry mate, if Wilder didn't knock Fury out - Usyk ain't.

Usyk will be looking to win on points.

Where in the above post did you read me say I think Usyk knocks Fury out?
