The Fury v Usyk fight simply has to happen it’s the biggest Heavyweight fight of this era and then we will see who takes it.A few other fights also to come off to liven this era up Joyce v Parker Ruiz v Ortiz and Joshua v Wilder is still a massive fight. No doubt if Fury v Usyk happens both will then retire and the division will be wide open .

Funny how a few years ago it was all about AJ, Fury and Wilder.
Arguably Ruiz at a certain point.
Nobody saw Usyk coming and him possible winning it all.

There are still a few fights I would like to see to finish it all off.
USyk vs Fury which should obviously be next
Fury vs AJ, still has to happen
Aj vs Wilder, still has to happen
Usyk vs Wilder at some point.

Usyk just needs to channel his inner McDermott.

Fury doesn't need the legs to run around Usyk, he will stand toe to toe and while you migt not think Fury has the legs anymore - I think Usyk looks very vulnerable to big hits to the body.

    Usyk is 35 himself.

I don't, I think it will be competitive but Fury knows how to use his size and that flicking jab he uses and switch hitting will be difficult for Usyk.. he's a different monster to Joshua whos too predictable & doesn't use the ring.. my moneys on Fury.. he can match the Ukrainian for his craziness and and strong mentality and ring IQ as well.. good big un beats a good little un

Fury would be the slight favorite but I like Usyk's chances. I think stylistically Usyk is a bad matchup for Fury. Smaller, that means he'll be harder to hit for the big Fury. Usyk will run around him, pot-shot and Fury will be getting tired from that. He'll try to smother Usyk early and knock him out, but if Usyk weathers the storm and Fury's gas tank goes out late and is less active, Usyk will win the championship rounds and win on points possibly.

Bodyshots have always been Usyk's kryptonite. The only times he was knocked down or hurt were from body blows (Beterbiev, Mezhidov, Gassiev, now Joshua) so it's definitely a real issue for him if he is to face Fury. But why would he get in a position where Fury can stand toe to toe with him? He'll be darting laterally, spinning Fury, trying to clinch him up. Fury won't just be able to get free shots off on him, and will likely need to do some form of hit and holding to pin Usyk in place long enough to get shots off (which affects your leverage and thus ability to do damage). He doesn't have quite the compactness or explosiveness to bang off sharp bodyshots to Usyk's midsection the way Joshua was doing; he needs a bit more space and a bit more of a wind up to land hurtful blows. It's a subtly different dynamic.

Fury will be lunging in and leaning on Usyk Riddick Bowe style which makes him ripe for being turned and countered. Fury's going to have to do some softening up on the outside before he starts his rough housing, else he'll have little success.

Much depends on how his elbows are now. To do that he'll need his jab working.

Great, great match-up. Will be very interesting to see how well Fury adapts to Usyk's footwork and angles
