I don't need to explain. If Usyk beats AJ again, he deserves props for beating him twice. You might not rate it but it counts for something. I think it's an attractive fight, financially, in theory. It should draw a good UK crowd. It is a routine fight, possibly very very easy work. But apparently Whyte wants a certain % and Fury wants a certain % .... You put those two percentages of together and it's well over 100. So that's the stumbling block. Also, my suspicion is that Fury and his promoters absolutely hate Eddie Hearn and want to put him through the wringer before the fight is made. They might be playing into his hands though. It is also possible that Whyte doesn't want the fight with Fury and is hoping to price himself out but end up with the WBC belt by way of the committee room. Yeah, well, Fury is nowhere near as great as Ali. Right. Ali fought guys like Patterson, Liston, Cooper, Chuvalo, Bugner, Quarry, TWICE each. But you asked why Fury should get props for beating someone he already beat. In this same post. Obviously Ali has much better record and fought everyone. Fury isn't even close to Ali. But he's probably number 1 at the moment. Cool story. But Whyte is not a good contender. He is on a winning streak of one fight. He was knocked cold by a 40 year old two fights ago. It's a joke that he's mandatory. If Fury goes off and finds a worse challenger than Whyte then of course he deserves to be criticized. I still suspect the fight will he made. Fury will batter him, and I won't even be giving Fury any credit. Because Whyte is a bum really.
I mean, are people really saying Whyte is a good challenger just because the WBC have him 'mandatory' ? He's not good. He's reasonable as a filling time defence. That's about it.
Haha, you are the type of person that buys into commercial marketing on a daily basis. Just because there is a physical "belt" on the line, makes it more credible, than being the man who beat the man. Okay, bud. I know that you're not the brightest.
Isn't it obvious? Joshua was a world champion, after having won a belt that was stripped from Fury, "won" by Martin, bought from Martin, to then be defended against Molina and Breazeale. Why is it okay for Joshua to defend against cans but nobody else? Is it because the fireworks are better?
Yes, because your fraudulent idol is picking Kabayel over Whyte, who is better and a mandatory. Get that? Idiot
The only Heavyweight fight people want to see is Fury v Usyk to crown the FIRST undisputed World Heavyweight Champion for all four belts. Joshua should have done the decent thing having lost his chance of this himself fair and square in the ring and took the step aside money. The ReMatchroom contracts stink and even pudding non title fights have them.
AJ has also fought his mandatories without trying to avoid them. He also didn't pick out Seferi, Pianeta and Schwarz instead of top contenders. He also has way more than 1 title defense in 13 years. I could go on and on, but you are a deluded idiotic fanboy so you'd just change the subject. So, enjoy your fraudulent, mandatory ducking idol
Joshua has had 2 50-50's in his career and has lost twice, once to a morbidly obese pudding. Oops. Laughed at the thought of someone coming off a 3 year lay off, drugs, obesity, booze and inactivity, to fight top contenders. HAHA!
Haye is a MUCH WORSE choice than Whyte. What makes you think I'm defending it? If Fury fights Haye it would be a complete farce. A disgrace. Whyte's hardly any better than Kabayel, is he? Both of them are weak challengers that add NOTHING to Fury's record, but you could justify both as "filler" defences, tune up type challengers, British/Euro level padding while Fury waits for Usyk/AJ winner.
Fury should definitely fight Whyte he deserves it because he’s on a - 1 Fight winning streak - KO’d Povetkin after Povetkin 100% recovered from covid and had his legs - Provided the B sample - Wants it bad ♂️
