Audley Harrison was an Olympic gold medalist and won it rightfully, unlike Joshua. He will indeed be the forgotten man, sooner or later.
but he wont though will he fury may end up being remember for never facing a voluntary just like his foe before him the era of never stepping up lmfao whod of thought then laud them for it wicky esq nah mate
If he grows a pair and fights his mandatory like other champions did, there would be no issues. But if he fights another Seferi type bum, then yeah, I would watch but I'd be talking sh!t the entire fight haha
I don't think anybody cares about mandatories except fanboys on boxing forums to bring it up when it suits. People remember big and great fights. Nobody cares about beating the Molinas, Takams, Breazeales, Parkers and Pulevs of the world.
If Fury didn't fight a bunch of Sefari, Pianeta and Schwarz types, then it would be ok to skip his mandatory. But he wants another soft touch. Also, all the guys you listed above, Fury didn't even fight THEM. He instead fought guys who were ranked in the 100's and the 3 guys I mentioned do not even box any more. That's how bad Furys opponents are. So yes, he needs to fight a mandatory just so it can be a so called champion fighting someone decent instead of another bum
Joshua has been in two fifty-fifty matches his entire career, both at Wembley and one against Fury's sloppy seconds who was retiring. He went life and death in one and lost the other, got schooled. Pipe down.
Agreed. Never did get why Tyson needs so many tune ups. There can't be a belt holder who has as many as he does, and someone like Lennox never did that.
I think he was underrated myself but yes his CV had too many easy touches but he produced the goods in the big fights against Eubanks, Lacey, Kessler and Hopkins. I thought he was a great boxer and he would have been more explosive if he did not suffer from serious hand injuries his entire career.
Eubank was near the end and overrated himself, Lacey was totally overrated, Kessler was good but not great. Hopkins was an excellent win, and I do think he won that. Calzaghe an excellent boxer, capable of beating the best of them, but I consider him just short of being a great.
Martin, Molina, Breazeale, Takam, Paint Dry, Pulev, Rice Pudding Jr. All but Klitschko, essentially. Some of these opponents are absolutely woeful. Hilarious that he managed to vulture belts off of Martin, Paint Dry and Rice Pudding Jr to whom he had lost them initially.
