Totally agree that Joshua has only had 2 tests and he lost one of them and nearly lost to old Wlad as well.

Never seen him as elite after watching British Level Pudding Whyte having him dancing and knew it was only a matter of time before he was found out at the top level.

Never did I expect Rice Pudding Ruiz Jnr to batter him though.

Oh my bad. I didn't know that you were one of the guys that Fury kissed in the ring. Well, your boyfriend is a fraud who is ducking Whyte.

Like Chris Eubank in the first fight against Nigel Benn. He willingly accepted the thin end of the purse split, backed himself to get the job done, and reaped the financial reward in the years following the fight.

Johnson hased Burns around the world -- quite literally -- for two years until Burns caved in and agreed to fight him, and Johnson got Burns in the ring with him.

Fury has 1 title defense and is about to either vacate or be stripped of the one belt that is real. His imaginary lineal title and the who cares Ring magazine title are not legit and do not have mandatories. You can say what you want about AJ's opponents but Fury's opponents are ten times worse. And if AJ fought guys like Seferi, Schwarz and Pianetta in the last couple of years, you would say the same thing. Face facts idiot. Your idol is a fraud. A real champ doesn't throw the belt into the thrash like Bowe to avoid someone. A real champion would actually jump at the chance to prove he is better.

Hey? AJ has beaten half a dozen opponents with better resumes than Wilder in Wlad, Whyte, Povetkin, Parker, Ruiz and Pulev. Which when you consider Wilder is Fury's best opponent after Wlad and Chisora- also shows how thin Fury's resume really is (the likes of even Takam and Martin would get into Furys top 5 opponents).

Fury was out of the ring for 2 1/2 years and walking around at 27 stone, obese, mentally shot, physical mess.
That's why he faced Seferi and Pianeta. Most of us thought he was at least 2 years off getting back into real shape to take on the likes of Joshua and Wilder, when he came back. Everyone said he'd fight at least 5 complete bums before stepping up.
But six months after Seferi, he went over to Las Vegas to fight Wilder and was unlucky not to get the decision.
People forget the context when they pull up Seferi and Pianeta.

As a world "belt holder" Fury has never had a tune up, unless we class his last fight as a tune up.

His record as a champion is crap but he hasn't had any soft fights while holding s world belt.
In fact, Dillian Whyte would be his softest opponent in a fight for world title belts.

    Chisora or Haye.

I'm not even joking. This will be the level of the fight if this farce goes ahead.

If he fights a washed up complete bum like a Chisora or Haye, he is a laughingstock forever.

I would like Fury to fight in March though. I don't know if Whyte even wants to fight in March. It seems that Hearn and Whyte are treating it as a career cash-out retirement package or something, or actually want Fury to vacate so they can claim the belt.

Fury should fight someone. Whyte, Parker, Ruiz, Wallin are all reasonable, so is Joyce. They have some supporters. Kabayel is okay, Hunter is okay. These are all tune ups really.
The only Fury fight worth giving a **** about is Usyk right now (or AJ if he rematches and wins).
Still, I'd rather see Fury get active fighting s bum like Whyte than take another year off and then moan about inactivity.

They don't forget. They choose not to acknowledge the context, because of its sheer epicness. The fact he went from being absolutely finished, being mocked and ridiculed even by Joshua, to then having two tune-ups and in with Wilder in America, beating him, is just too much for the Joshua crowd. Meanwhile, their hero was taking on pathetic opposition and actually getting beat.

The Joshua crowd can never get over that. And the losses are only going to keep stacking up, at this stage in his career.

Whyte was out of shape, inexperienced, injured and fighting without a brain that night.

He also took about 100 clean shots from Joshua at the start of the bout. A ridiculous amount of punishment, and was not put down.

Joshua did his signature funny dance for the first time and was lamented for it in the aftermath for years. The Joshua fans called people like us haters for bringing it up. Now they know why. As soon as he gets hit clean, he always does that dance.

Yes the losses are going to stack up just like he stacked up the puddings for the win side of his CV.

Any elite fighter beats him, decent contenders beat him such as Joyce and even some of the defeated puddings have a good chance of beating him. Paint Dry Parker has a good chance now if he lets his hands go and Jelly Belly Ruiz would do him again if he cuts down on the burgers and cakes so he could at least move in the ring.

Yeah, there might be some truth to that.
In those few months in 2018, literally saw the forum go from ...

"Fury's done now, he'll fight 5 bums then try to cash out"
"Nah, he'll fight 6 bums then retire again"
"Even Bellew would beat him now"

    TO ....

"He's not fighting Wilder, it's just talk to raise his profile"
    "Fight is not happening."
"He won't sign to fight Wilder"
"He might sign. But he'll pull out with an injury"

    TO ....
    "He's cashing out already"
    "He's scamming the fans"
    "Wilder will destroy him"
"Fury's just there for the payday"

Like you say, the sheer epicness of the comeback seems to be routinely ignored now. Deliberately ignored.

'Boxthing is a brutal bizthness' - Christopher Livingstone Eubank

The most amazing comeback in boxing history, three fights against a long reigning, hard hitting KO artist away from home, the fight of the year 2021 and huge in the USA.

This does sound like a football fan complaining about an unpopular substitute being made on 90 mins when their team is 6-0 up playing great football.

Enjoy Fury while he is here as the legend of The Gypsy King will be talked about years after we are all gone.
