Let's not fool ourself. He was never going to accept the loss, and comes out publicly he was beaten by the better man, and lost clearly. His ego couldn't handle that. He couldn't handle that. He was telling everyone how Usyk is a no name, small middleweight, who is no good, how easy this fight will be, one of the easiest fight of his career, how we should not call Usyk garbage, after Fury beats him, and all kind of this stuffs, when in reality he was scared to death of facing Usyk and this was clearly clear going into the fight, and inside the ring as well.
Fury run whole night, and his best work was 1 or 2 counter puncher here and there, which he never was able to capitalize on it, cause he was scared to go after Usyk, as he was afraid of what may come back at him.
For years Fury is talking how he is the best ever, and no one could beat him, do you expect him to now come and admit he was smashed to pieces by 2 years older, 40 pounds lighter, 19cm. less reach, and 16cm. shorter fighter?

And there was people who said Fury will take a loss well ..... Clearly delusional.

I wonder does Fury have anyone around him who isn't a 'yes man', anyone not on the payroll who knows a thing or two about boxing.

He clearly won round 1 Fury landed 2 jabs and was getting backed up all round while Usyk landed several power shots to both the head and body clear round for Usyk. Round 2 Fury landed 3 punches 1 job 1 right hand and 1 uppercut to the body Usky landed 11 a good mix of body and head work most of which were power shots and again while backing Fury up all round. There is 0 argument you can make that Fury won those rounds.

    On a sidenote...

Listening carefully, to me he sounded like CTE might be might be setting in - I mean the pronunciation, characteristic difficulty with keeping the words sounding clear.

It's very slight but if you listen to a lot of boxing interviews over the years, you can sense it before the average person, I believe. Carl Froch sounds similar.

Yet another reason not to give him a rematch, for his own good.

He is mental, lying through his teeth and biased. What more you can expect from this guy ? How the hell is he allowed to type from that mental illness clinic is the real question ....

He is delusional and has many yes men, but personally I believe he is talking rubbish and knows he lost

He probably thinks this will prepare him in some way, or drum up interest

Yes your post is likely bang on the money, but what a man says publicly and believes privately can be be 2 different things

Ali used to talk smack about frazier being a punch bag and he will beat him in his sleep, despite losing their first fight. Everyone knows Ali's true thoughts on Joe

Only a movie, but Apollo was different privately than he appears in public to rocky in rocky 2. We all.know Fury is an ego maniac. I have said that from day 1 and he is definitely a delusional guy.

but imo deep down he knows he lost that fight and it's his ego not allowing it to rule his head. Most men would accept it and move on, but he is a very eccentric individual and maybe he believes it will help in the rematch in some way, which i have no idea

I think he knows he lost. He is a slabber at times, but he isn't stupid. He will have watched it back and know he didn't do enough in the second half of the fight

2 of the 3 judges gave Fury the 2nd, there's a definite argument he won the round. It was a very close round. You say Fury landed only 3 punches and Usyk landed 11? I can go through the round with you if you'd like.

I don't think he was on death's door like you do. He was closer to being stopped by Wilder than he was Uysk. 9/10 referees wouldn't have even given him a count in that situation.

How is 8-4 in rounds a shellacking? You guys are weird. A comprehensive loss in a competitive fight isn't enough for you. Instead we have to have this fantasy of Fury being beaten from pillar to post for 12 rounds.

I don't think AJ Uysk was particularly competitive. A no point did Joshua ever look like he was getting a measure of Uysk. The opening salvos in the Fury fight were nothing rounds with little in them, then Fury looked to be getting on top in the middle rounds then he got caught and looked to be gassing down the stretch as Usyk kept coming on.

I can't believe how salty some people are towards Fury after a loss. God only knows how they'll react if he wins the rematch.

And the judges were obviously biased hence why they had it so close, it was a clear round for Usyk based on the judging criteria but sure we can go through it

It's insane. These Usyk d-riders are way over the top with this whole it wasn't even close Usyk won at minimum 8 or 9 rounds. This is some of the worse fanboying I've seen on here and that's saying a lot lol.
Yeah I agree Fury obviously didn't conserve his energy like Usyk did. I also think there's some truth to what Fury said about how he was having too much fun and dominating to such an extent by rounds 4-6 that maybe he got a little too comfortable which was what led to Usyk surprising him and he ended up getting caught and hurt.

A more focused Fury is definitely capable of beating Usyk, he was clearly on his way to winning a UD by the middle of round 7. But Usyk made an incredible comeback and credit to him. His fanboys are acting like this was a Usyk domination start to finish, what tomfoolery lol.

You're dealing with a mental case lol. Did you see his rants about me earlier in this topic. Yikes, this dude is completely off his rocker fanboying for Usyk. Remember this guy originlaly had 10-2 Usyk and claimed that Round 4 was a clear Usyk round. Before finally conceding Fury won that round. This guy needs professional help lmao.
AJ Usyk 1 wasn't close, but AJ Usyk 2 was closer. Round 9 in the rematch was a huge round for AJ, but then Usyk came back with a huge Round 10 and that was pretty much that. But at least through 9 rounds, AJ did much better in the rematch.
It's crazy, I'm not exactly a Fury fan either, but some of these Usyk fans are making be want to see him lose, which is annoying because I like Usyk and try to stay as unbiased as possible when scoring. But these Usyk fanboys are something else lol.
