I know this question is not directed at me, but as someone who can see nothing but a nightmare fight for Usyk, I want very much for him to win and prove me wrong! I have been saying Fury wins by KO since the fight was announced, but I won't mind being completely wrong!

Prove me wrong Oleksandr and whup this big boy!

I think Fury will lean on him a lot, sap his strength, then probably stop him late. But I assume Usyk knows this will be the plan and is preparing for it. He certainly seems keen. No doubt Usyk is the better boxer, but Fury is a special mix of size, mobility and skill. I like both of them though. On balance I selfishly hope Fury wins as it would lead to some great british match-ups (Joyce, Joshua, etc). Though if Usyk wins I'd like to see him v Wilder.

Yes he is. Why did you feel the need to create a thread about this?

I think its better to get knocked out than to lose a decision where you tried your hardest. You can always think "What if" after a KO, cant do the same if youve been comprehensively outpointed

Devastating puncher true, but not the most devastaing puncher in history. That's embellishing a little too much.

Julian Jackson would switch Fury’s lights out, even as a MW.

    Thanks brother Headbanger. Likewise.

To be honest this is the wrong time to ask me this question as I'm very angry and disappointed with Belly. The 70/30 split really is despicable and so so disrespectful, especially given what an absolute scholar and gent and fearless road warrior Usyk is and all the advantages Belly already holds over him and how stacked the deck is in his favour. If he'd said 60/40 take it or leave it I would've been OK with it but 70/30 is extremely scummy and I've just lost so much respect for him.

As you well know the tiny majestic isle of Great Britain produces the greatest fighters and fiercest most iron-jawed warriors in the world and we just don't expect these deck-stacking diva antics from our boys. Usyk is the one acting like the Brit here not Belly. Look at how many times Usyk has stepped up to Brit Level, on British hallowed soil, and not only been able to hang at that level but actually dominate up there. That is completely unheard of.

Usyk is well liked and very popular over here and there are reasons why that is. Belly has let both me, himself, and the tiny majestic isle of Great Britain down in a very big way with this BS :shakehead:

Yeah I feel usyk is deserving of 50-50 in this fight but the reality is that as soon as the Saudi's pulled out and the fight went to Wembley, then Usyk was always going to be on the wrong end of the deal financially.

The bottom line is if the fight didn't happen then Fury would probably have earned £25m from taking 80 percent of the pot from a fight with Andy Ruiz on April 29, and Usyk would have earned maybe £5m from fighting Dubois.

So does Usyk choose £25m for a chance to become a ATG v Fury, or go through a list of pointless mandatories earning peanuts?

The good thing for Usyk is that if he wins this then he becomes the top dog and will cash in appropriately in a rematch and versus the likes of Wilder and Joyce.

If you dont appreciate Usyk then you're not a true boxing fan imo, the guy has elite footwork with an elite boxing IQ, he only wants to fight the best and he is happy to do it in the opponents back yard. If Usyk wins, no one should deny him his greatness.

Fury gets NO credit for beating up on a feather fisted cruiserweight whose best win is a toss up between shot old delboy chisora or labouring for twelve over the guy obese Andy made QUIT already.

Fury outweighed the little midget by FIFTY pounds they’ll say, it was always a mismatch they’ll say, can we really credit fury for beating a cruiserweight they’ll say..

fury was ducking wilder Whyte Joshua and usyk, probably after he destroys the little rabbit he’ll be ducking Joyce and Franklin.
