Disciplined, long-range Fury vs. Haye. How would it have gone?

Could Fury have eeked out a UD? Stays at range, jabs around and doesn't take any risks at all? :think

Chisora was an easy target, just like a punching bag. Haye has much better footwork, is much faster and would counter that jab all day. Anyway, Haye is a ***got so I hope Fury KOs him but I do not think he is on that level.

Hmmm.... Fury is going to hate hayes speed, and haye will land. Mind you haye gets hit and he aint tough, hes small, if fury opened up, hed send haye to sleep.

Haye would get past that jab easily. Chisora's style made Fury look a lot better than he actually is.

I said in the RBR thread that this is the most depressing thing to come out of tonight... What could've been, sigh.

Fury wouldn't stop Haye, and Haye wouldn't be anywhere near as nonchalant & inactive as Chisora was tonight. Haye is on another planet compared to Del, and a single punch could put Tyson on his ****... All it takes is one punch.

I'd go for a Haye KO, but if it went the distance, and Tyson fought with as much discipline as he did tonight, I'd give it him on points.

Haye's speed and explosiveness is key, I still see Haye winning by KO.

The way Fury beats Haye is by imposing his size on him like he did Cunningham.

I don't believe Haye<USS, though he's certainly been better managed and took less risky fights.

Does anyone think USS would lose to Valuev except by robbery?

Most ppl know the Valuev fight was Haye running for 11 rds and landing a single meaningful punch that Valuev didnt see coming.

Cunningham would have been countering him at will with R crosses.

I think Fury.....is doing what he NEEDS to do. And that's ADJUST to different styles, sizes, and disciplines.

He seems like he has a very knowledgeable team that trains him according to which style he is fighting.

I've not seen a repeat Fury performance since the first McNuggett fight. Since that fight we've seen a different type of Fury every time out.

This performance was almost identical to the KJ fight except Fury boxed almost exclusively SP. Which is similar to the Rogie fight except Fury boxed extraordinarily patiently behind the R jab.

USS and Haye are similar in size, speed, and punch resistance. I think Fury imposes his size on him and after a few early scares KOs David Haye or gets him running so hard that not even a roided Hussein Bolt can catch him.:thumbsup

Im very honest to say a haye ko is the most possible outcome. but haye could easily get stopped by fury. Haye was rocked by barrett, old ruiz hit him enough times. Chisora rocked him. hayes durability in the heavyweight division isnt good enough to start mixing it with big SHW's that dont mind opening up.

This wasn't even the best Fury.

He was just toying with Chisora.

Haye knew what Fury was about when he walked away so i think that answers your question

Well it's the best we've seen him thus far I think. So we have to judge him based on that.

I think Haye should stop Fury, but Haye doesn't think that so it changes things lol.

No, Haye would have KO'd him, Chisora was plodding with no headmovement, it was easy to land against him, Haye is a lot more agile, faster et cetera, he could end Fury with one punch as well which he'd probably land.
