look, i'm not some huge Fury supporter who doesn't see him for what he is, but i'm also not going to accept people talking absolute crap. you could clearly see that Fury was looking to impress. look how hot headed he was in the first round? he lost it, took his eye off the ball, and was sent crashing. plus, why the hell do you think he went over to the states? he was the bigger name. he didn't need to do that. but he wanted to cause a stir. also, watch the fight again. Fury leaned on Cunningham only twice. all the holding was done by Steve. is there something up with your eyes that you can't see that? the left elbow followed by the right hook wasn't exactly clean, but Steve was out. they can't DQ for that, only give him a warning. the ref was on the case of Fury only. Steve was doing all the holding. why aren't you talking about that? why aren't you talking about that bull**** point deduction that Cotton gave Fury for the supposed headbutt? he didn't headbutt him, he merely pushed his head into Steves ever so slightly. there was nothing rough about it at all. yeah, give him a warning, but a point deduction? bull****! we always have to put up with you're dodgy refs. always looking out for the American fighter. they can cheat and hold on all the time without ever getting so much as a disapproving look from the ref. the traveling fighter only has to breath and they're all over them. so wind your neck in. didums, was Steve the much smaller man was he? nobody forced him into going to the heavyweight division. that was his choice. but all he can do is cry like a ****ing two year old. yeah, they make them tough in Philly don't they... funny how the Americans are all calling it unfair with the weight disparity between the two here, but when it come to David Haye, they call him all the names under the sun... HYPOCRITES
Ok if Fury wanted to impress... what is with his other **** fights? I mean Fury needed a gift against McDermott! Was hurt against feathefisted Firtha and down against Pajkic, Please be serious people! Fury is good! But he is just not anything special. Why cant you guys see this? Could a Fury fan explain me whats special about Fury? The only thing what is impressiv is that he is huge and can box and move quite good for such a big man. But really nothing great or special. To Cunningham crying... I have to agree. What did he expect? He was a ****ing featherfisted Cruiserweight (even with a small frame, look at HAye he is much bigger than Cunningham) fighting at heavyweight... then he crys that he gets pushed around and that Fury was much bigger tha him? Cunningham just cant deal with a better opponnent! He also cryed after Hernandez beat him two times.
Fury is just a KO waiting to happen, nothing more. His chin has been shown to be highly suspect already, and will soon be shattered in such dramatic fashion that only the most deluded will be able to deny he has a glass jaw.
this shows that a china chin Furry couldn't drop himself even with a clear surprising power pucnh ... which proves his punching power is very weak.
Glass Jaws exist and there is enough Evidence to know Fury has one. People can continue to make excuses but it doesn't matter at this point anyone that knows about Punch Resistance knows the truth.
Most Brits don't rate Fury. Go over to the British Forum and read some of the comments. We've seen him fight as a raw novice and he still makes the same mistakes he made early in his career. Reading some of the comments on another threadabout how Wilder is taking a step up fighting Audley Harrison shows how much the American heavyweight scene is in the doldrums. Audley Harrison was found out years ago. Wilder has already knocked him around in sparring. If Wilder cant get rid of Harrison in 4 rounds it will damage what little credibility he has. Price ko'd Harrison in 1 and Haye did him in 3. Wilder is doing this fight to get a bit of notice in Britain and Europe. There is a some good money to be made in Britain fighting some of the bigger names. Manny Steward said that Fury, Price and Wilder were the future of the heavyweight scene. Steward worked with the Klitschkos and in my opinion was looking at generating some interest in future fights that he knew would do good business and that the Kiltschkos would win.
