Bruno fought Tyson, Bonecrusher, Witherspoon & Lewis, all big punchers but he wouldnt fight Wilder?

Because of the healthy domestic scene British HW get brought along much faster than other countries, where fighting 30+ cans in a row seems to be the norm

What big big domestic fights can Fury get? All the other players are on Sky or Boxnation & we've already seen the Price fight fall through because of TV contracts.

 

Witherspoon and Lewis were huge paydays, I can't be bothered checking boxrec if Lewis was a title fight but it probably was. Witherspoon defo was. Smith had a KO loss on his record before Bruno. bonecrusher actually lost his pro debut against james broad by tko in the 4th, but he was more gassed than anything....

 

a shame. this fight would have signaled a shift in HW division politics in my eyes, from all undefeated guys building their records up until the ultimate payday and guaranteed loss to a klitschko, to more scenarios where guys put their records on the line before fighting a klitschko. in addition to that, it would have been an interesting clash of styles, wills and nations, but once again, the shitty politics of boxing's formerly premier division reign supreme.
