Exactly. We have seen it again and again. Tyson Fury a few months ago "I'll fight anyone" Tyson Fury now "Wilder isn't ranked high enough but I will fight Mormeck or James Toney."
Wrong. Wilder has been knocked down once ever and that was 11 fights ago. Ali was down early in his career too. Fury was rocked by Chisora and put down by Nevin Pajkic. If this fight does not happen,Fury is officially "the tubby slapping coward from Manchester."
What does the average random person know about boxing? It's not a body building contest. Wilder may take it more seriously, but that might not mean much if you don't have the talent, or have physical limitations to prevent you capitalising on your efforts. We've just seen Fury operate at a much higher level than Wilder so far. Until Wilder steps it up I can't say for sure how he will do, right now he hasn't looked great against some absolute bottom rung journeymen...so lets hope he is just the type to perform to the occasion and to make a decent fight out of this at some point down the road.
I've seen fury operate, yes, and I wouldn't call it "high level." The guy's a bum. The only thing he has going for him is his name. Wilder has looked GREAT in his last 3-4 fights. Granted, it was against unimportant fighters, but he looked great nonetheless. His technique has improved dramatically in the last 2 years. Haters need to actually WATCH those fights, then STFU. Maybe then the rest of us can have an actual, serious conversation about the current HW prospects and, you know, their prospects.
**** off nuthugger, Wilder was KTFO by Russian cruiserweight plumber Evgeny Romanov...with headgear on.
This content is protected OMG ! Tyson Fury & Quentin Tarrantino - Separated at birth: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/celebrity/quentin_tarantino/pictures/14063240/ Except Quentin would probably have a better chance of becoming the HW champ.
It's clearly an easy night's work for Fury, right? This thread is a 'wind up' or the O/P is 'trolling' Fury would take out Wilder in 4 and it would be brutal. TF doesn't have 'one punch' KO power, but what he DOES have is VERY fast and heavy hands for a 6'9, 18 stone guy that draws your will to compete from you and can embarrass you. Kind of like Vitali. But 18 years younger. I don't think Wilder has the 'level' or chin of Chisora to be humiliated for 12 rounds but still nobly continue. He'll be down with the 2nd solar plexus body punch Tyson throws while looking into Wilder's eyes and feinting a jab :good and THAT will be why the world and his companion ranks Fury in the Top 10 and Wilder OUTSIDE the top 50.
Oh so now we're gonna bring up amateur fights as if they count? OK well how about Vitali getting KO'd in one round by Oleg Maskaev? And then Vitali ducked him for his entire pro career.
What's vitali got to do with this? Oh yeah I remember you said you hate him because he's white and European and you want a black, American champ
And Muhammad Ali, who was KO'd as an amateur (so reported by his original trainer, although various records have been doctored over the years) and KD's four times as a pro. - By Sonny Banks and Chuck Wepner, fer Chissakes. But facts don't matter to these idiots.
I want an American champ,it doesn't mater the color. But I will settle for an exciting champ. Other than that,I think you have a thing for me Phil. You like talking to me huh? Yeah We're gonna hang out one day. You and me all alone.
