Well, he's no John Mcdermott, is he?

As Kurt Deville points out, he already said that Usyk is the best he ever faced. So now he loses to Usyk, and Usyk is not the best he has ever faced.

I continue to predict that he will not make it to the fight. At some point, he will not be able to lie to himself any longer.

I hope Parker or someone is available as a back up. I am 50/50 on whether Fury will make it or not.

Fury still has nightmares about Round 9 and doesn't want to admit Usyk being the better fighter.

tbh Jo Parker is in better shape than Fury. Fury has looked horrendous in every fight since the second Wilder fight.

Usyk already beat number 2(Fury) and number 3(AJ) of this generation. Why not number 4 as well?

Mark my words - Usyk is going to knock Fury out this time. Wait and see. Fury is done. Mentally and physically.

Usyk is by far the best he has faced or ever will face

Wlad is a great too and may well be the best HW he fought albeit he fought old well past their best versions of both

Fury already buddy'd up to Parker and became best friends. A smarter, more subtle way to duck him in the future. Because now, I as a fan wouldn't want to see that fight, because Parker is clearly in his pocket.

Fury will say that the best he fought with was the one he defeated, but he doesn't think that about Usyk because he can't stand defeat

This is par for the course with most boxers. When asked about the best boxer, puncher, or any other attribute of someone they have fought, invariably they pick someone they have beaten themselves.
Expect a further avalanche of drivel from the self-styled “real fighting man” over the next few weeks.

Fury is probably playing mind games with himself. But it's also true people underestimate how dangerous Wilder was back then, even if he was never as good as Usyk. Fury was always consistent in terms of saying Wilder was a very difficult opponent.

But let's also remember Usyk telling us that Chisora was the hardest puncher he'd faced, which was a steaming pile of bs.
