Can't argue! If you're being honest, you must admit that a lot of haters and Fury fans were going on about Fury whooping Wilder. I find it funny, that right up to Fury's last fight, those same people that wanted a Fury/Wilder fight, claimed up until the fight, that Wilder would not except or want a fight if Fury looked too impressive. Now that the fight looks to happen, people are now claiming Fury ain't ready. That's whatI have a problem with! You mentioned Povekin. That fight was a done deal. Wilder was in Eurpoe getting ready to face Pov in Russia, when the negitive test popped up. People have the nerve to blame Wilder for the fight not happening. Fools came up with all these conspirecy theories to place blame on everyone except Povetkin. If the Pov fight had happened, Wilder would have, Pov, Ortiz and Fury on his resume. Not bad! If you pay attention, the MO for these guys never changes. If you recall, Ortiz was another guy Wilder would never face. Once the fight was made, Ortiz was a geriatric with multiple health issues. It's funny as hell and very predictable. What's happening, is subpar fans, pick a guy they want to hate on, then they'll pick a foe for that fighter and critisize him for not fighting him. Once the fight happens, they then say the foe is not any good or damaged goods and so on. You know this happens! That's the nonsense I call out!
Give the guy a break. His dad gouged out someone's eyeball and his creepy meth-peddling uncle has been raping Hughie since childhood. He's doing well considering.
I wouldn't be surprised if Tyson goes off the rails after the Wilder fight. Win or loose, and he will get KO'd... If he wins by a miracle and that's a huge if, he might be able to keep it together for a huge payday with AJ if it happens pretty quickly afterwards.Warren must be crapping himself..Hes got a huge money maker, but he don't know when the pin will be pulled.
My take on this is guys like Hatton , Calzaghe etc who retire then go and party on the p iss and beak are making up for lost time , these fellers have been training since they were children and " miss out " on doing things we all done in our teens and early 20's because they were following a path mapped out for them , so what if ex pros go on a few benders a year who don't ? regardless of age i work for months on end remaining sober but once in a while I find myself in the local club at 10am having a few pints with the old timers , people forget Tyson is still a relatively young bloke, all work no play etc etc .
Absolutely I’ve known a few lads with similar travelling backgrounds and the abuse thing is not uncommon.
