This seems about the sum of it :good

Unless Fury can turn it into some ugly, mauling match where he tires Wlad out in the clinches and then, in the later rounds ... nah ... don't see it either.

Yeah, I also think Wlad is stronger. He's a monster. But Fury has the frame - the potential - to be stronger. Whether he ever realises that potential is up for debate.

It would be an interesting fight between Jennings and Fury but Jennings just seemed to fight to go 12 rounds where as Fury will fight to win.

Agree with most of this except the stamina part. I do think Fury is the most dangerous opponent Wlad has faced in many years, though. His height/size advantage, combined with his punch volume, and skill level is not something Wlad has seen in combination before. The only contender level HW noticeably bigger than Wlad was Wach, who is not a volume puncher or with remotely the skill of Fury. Fury, while I wouldn't be surprised if he lost to Wach h2h, is a much more intriguing fight against Wlad.

IMO, this will come down to chin. Everyone assumes Fury has a bad chin because he's been knocked down twice by lesser fighters. That's an indication he has chin problems, but is not determinative. Manny Stewart thought Fury had a good chin. And let's not forget Ali was similarly knocked down twice against lesser fighters headed into his first championship bout, and everyone thought he was chinny, and would be easy prey to a power puncher like Liston, but he proved himself an all time great chin. Fury's weakness appears to be overhand rights, one of Wlad's greatest strengths. If he can take or avoid Wlad's shots and not go down at any point in the fight, I honestly think he'll outpoint Wlad based on his volume punching backed by his size advantage.

That said, I do expect him to get ko'd or tko'd by Wlad, probably in the manner you describe above. I'd say, Wlad 65% chance of victory by (t)ko, Fury 20% chance of decision victory, 15% miscellaneous results.

it dosnt take much to beat wlad, but fury isn't much. his best victory is cheating against Cunningham.

Fury is a part time boxer who might have become something if he had the discipline of a non-gypsy citizen.

    He doesn't have it.

Fury is going to try to outbox Wladimir.

Wladimir is going to be like he was against Jennings and get a points victory with a home town decision.

There is no way Wladimir will be able to catch fury with his left hook or straight right and there is not enough power in Fury to be able to knock Wlad out. Gypsy will do his best boxing act moving around the ring and go smiling to the bank to collect the cheque after a very boresome boxing match between two very slow boxers.

At CHECKERS...........maybe. However, at chess.....NO. That is the only thing he might have a good chance is. They play it a lot in trailer parks I suppose.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Fury makes it look easy.

Wlad will probably have bricks in his gloves again like he had against Pulev.

Why not take my bet than? I'll even make it more friendly. If Wlad stops him by the 6th you stay gone from this site for 3 months. If Wlad just wins you stay gone for 1 month. Now if Fury wins I'll stay gone for 3 months. If he stops Wlad in any round I'll stay gone 6 months. I have a life outside of these forums so I really have nothing to lose. You on the other hand....what possible reason could you have not to take this bet?

I accepted your bet dummy. Why did I tell you go back to the thread?

What else do you want from me? You have to be your own man. I can't help you in life.
And tell me why you are cheerleading Fury over at the Scene:huh
