Agreed, it's why I don't believe the fight happens. AJ isn't mentally ready for it.

AJ has accepted December fight and directed Fury to deal with his management team 258.

Maybe so. This could be their last chance to make the fight and all the bags of money.

Chances of this fighting happening in December? Zero. None. Nada. Zip.

A third loss in a row would destroy Joshua, he really does need a couple of confidence building bouts. A win for AJ and that kills the Usyk vs Fury fight, and Usyk vs Joshua for all the belts is a tougher, less lucrative sell considering it's currently 2-0 to Usyk.

Also a win for Joshua cuts Warren and Aram out of the HW picture and hands their clout to Hearn and DAZN - over their dead bodies are they gonna sanction that.

All this smacks of manoeuvring by Fury so that when he announces a rematch with Wallin in December he doesn't get **** for it...

He knows they won't take it. Another loss for the bodybuilder, especially a ko, would probably end the Joshua gravy train. Hearn wants a couple of softer touches lined up to get the fanboys back on side.

It’s probably now or never the way their careers are drifting.

Usyk is stalling and so a BIG money fight with Joshua in December makes sense.
After that Usyk will either need to fight or retire.
Also, Fury is trying to light a fire under Usyk and get the deal made.

Fury is not acknowledging the fact that the Joshua drawing power has certainly declined after he’s been beaten, now twice, by Usyk

Sure Joshua is still a known name in the UK, but I don’t think Joshua / Fury has the appeal after AJs been so diminished by a better man

Sure, Joshua is still a “big name” and is “Great Britains own”, but even the diehard Britt don’t see him as a threat to Fury that he once was, they want to see a unification

but I think fury is trying to promote this fight to make a big payday while he waits for Usyk to be ready next year

3 months between fights is plenty of time.
