Absolute bollocks.. A post Andy Ruiz Joshua & an old Chisora DOES NOT usurp 30+ wins over the likes of unified champion WK, Wilder x3, Chisora x2 & Whyte etc.. you're talking out of your arse mate
Nah.There's a lot of filler in Fury's resume. Considering Usyk and Joshua have far fewer fights with more depth. Fighting Wilder three times is not the same as fighting three different top giys It just isn't however you try and spin it and put Usyk down for CW fights or Joshua for two losses.
I don't understand some here who say Fury has to fight AJ or Usyk to prove this and that. IMO it's AJ that needs to get past Usyk and maybe beat WIlder to set up a huge bout with Fury.
He probably does. Whyte was quite a good scalp for him since Whyte himself has quite a few good names under his belt that constitute some of Joshua's best wins, such as Parker and Povetkin. And the manner Fury took him out in was highly impressive, and trumps the win Joshua had over a greener version while getting hurt in the process. Weird how that's turned around.
You are exactly right that Joshua is momentarily out of the sweepstakes. It is just that people really wanted to see that fight, and feel a void inside of them. I will admit that to this day, I would still like to see Fury against Haye.
I think i was crystal clear in the (), when i said he obviously aged/declined more. But as you know you could be 30, but still underperform in X or Y matches, and not be up to the challenge, and even after being on the slide do great performance, as Klitschko has done against AJ. In terms of weight, obviously Fury win carried more, cause Klitschko was unbeaten for 10 years, and he dethroned him. But i think in terms of performance Klitschko did perform better in Joshua. He was just way more prepared, while still mentioning it, was even more on the declined.
As far as Joshua. Even if he lose to Usyk again, he is still top name and top 3. And the guy is ready to fight them all, no matter what anyone said or his promoter does. AJ is always ready, and he is a training machine, as well as very skilled boxer, and that is what it needs to be beaten, a top, top guy. The fight with Ruiz was a fluke, and AJ proved it. He though he got him, and swing wildly got caught by a perfect counter being on the front foot and throwing punches. This is the punches that hurt the most. Ruiz also find him in the temple, concussed him and it was over in that exact moment. Still AJ survived few more rounds, before he was stopped. In the rematch there was no question who the better man is. People loves to hate on AJ, but he has exceptional skills and it's a challenge for everyone. People also loves to say he got no chin, which is a complete b.c. Whyte has monster left hook, and he also find AJ with the perfect left hook counter, when AJ was on the front foot throwing bombs, as well as with few heavy shots after, and AJ survive. AJ also have high guard and tight defense that is hard to penetrate, no matter what anyone said. He is very fast and he is the most explosive puncher of this generation, as well as being heavy handed. He lost to a once in a generation fighter in Usyk. As far as Usyk goes i have said it before, he was on the decline even before AJ first fight. I expect him to be way worst now, because of the WAR and that he lost tons of size. You don't get that size back(in a good way, which means functional) in a couple of months. It's just ain't happening. I expect a huge faded Usyk version, and AJ to win the rematch. Still no matter of the result, both AJ and Usyk are ready, so Fury should fight them, to say he clean the division and fight the very best. He doesn't need to prove anything after that, neither Joyce, Parker and so are on that level.
Nothing but we can all pick out the poorer fighters on a boxers record AJ for example Cornish, Sprott,Skelton ect
