@MrDavidHaye: I did everything in my power to get Fury in the ring. Even gifting him a 50/50 split. But Big Chump won't sign contract 4 the fans #AllTalk Games or is this true? But 50 minutes before that.. Fury posted this on twitter: I'm coming for u @mrdavidhaye all systems go your going down & out! Some serious trolling from both...
Surprised Haye agreed to an even split tbh. He's the one with the contract for a PPV platform, and is the bigger and more accomplished heavyweight. All Fury has done is beat a bunch of midgets on channel 5.
The doughnut wanted a 80/20 split in his favour Tyson Fury ‏@Tyson_Fury 1m Haye wants 50/50 purse but I said only80/20 my way because I'm what's in!
:rofl He wanted a 80/20 split. He's at the wind up again. Earlier he tweeted. Tyson Fury ‏@Tyson_Fury 2h Feel so ***y today got my self a tan & waxed my legs ready to roll! Collapse Reply Retweet Favorite More :rofl:rofl
Im surprised he didnt ask for a state of the art caravan along with 5 horses from the countrys top breeders on top.. I knew all along this big oath wanted none of haye..
TV is the issue here. We don't know what Fury's new deal with Channel 5 is- I suspect it's along the lines of "If you don't fight on Channel 5 then our contract is void". In which case Fury would be foolish at this stage to take one fight (for a big pay day admittedly) that could jepordise his TV deal (that aren't easy to come by nowadays). We also have no idea if Haye's contract says he has to fight on Sky. Fury is still in an excellent position with the WBC and may just keep fighting top 15 contenders until the time is right a la Bruno with McCall (without options). Haye hasn't got that luxury at his age, if the fight with Fury doesn't happen then he needs to fight a Helenius/Charr to get back in the mix.
Hardly surprising after he clearly avoided both price and pulev, fury knows he is not world level and isn't gonna risk his money making oppurtunities by losing his 0
Tyson Fury ‏@Tyson_Fury 2m Think my next fight might b fres oquendo?? :happy he's playing Haye here :rofl. Trolling the troll .
They've been negotiating for weeks, if Fury was really demanding 80% of the purse talks of the fight wouldn't have been going on for this long. Has to be a wind up. They money is one of the first things they would have agreed to substantiate whether the fight had a chance of happening. Eddie Hearn said the fight was 90% done, you don't get that far without a deal on the split, as that probably makes up 50% of the negotiations.
Exactamundo, and it's hilarious. His tweet about needing the bigger cut to pay for a caravan is a belter too. This fight could have the funniest build up, I hope it happens just for that!
