This guy thinks we are stupid, he literally picked one of the most obscure opponent he could of but we are supposed to believe he wanted to fight AJ. Tyson, if you want easy comeback fights that’s whatever but when you are turning down Bellew, why the hell would anyone believe you would fight a top 2 guy?
I think he did. Cashing out without putting in the work. Sounds exactly like something Fury would try to get away with.
Hearn would have made that fight it would be the perfect time to catch him, I Don’t believe fury one bit. Like I said why pick Seferi instead of Bellew then?
You're probably quite correct but I have to point out that it's not entirely impossible IMO, there are two possibilities: A) He's just cashing out so the sooner he gets the AJ fight the better. B) He did ask Hearn for the fight but with some unreasonable condition to make sure it wouldn't be accepted, e.g. a stupid split in his favour. That why he can say Hearn declined the fight although of course he didn't want it himself.
Still, very possible as Fury wouldn't have expected to have much of a chance, but have a simple shortcut towards money. Hearn would have known he couldn't sell that, towards the public and the sanctioning orgs as Fury was horrendously out of shape when it was first mentioned. Now Fury has to make it back into the ranks and he seems to be planning to pull a Haye to make that happen. Hence the safari
I can’t take this guy seriously, he is a good fighter but even if he won the titles he would find a way to **** it up.
Why not take the Bellew fight though, it’s an easier fight, he would make at least 2 mil from that. I find it bizarre he won’t take that fight coz I would favour him to win big time.
Still, that's what Haye thought too. Normally Bellew wouldn't be much of a danger, but Fury wants zero danger up until his cashout it seems
I'm a fan of Tyson Fury for things he has said in the past, but he is very boring now with all this talk, and always contradicts himself. To make it worse, he's clearly had a word in the ear which is evident with all this gushing BBC coverage he's been getting and the fact he & his dad have said they aren't interested in talking politics, or anything else unrelated to boxing as that is, I quote, 'in the past'.
