Such a disgusting division and easily the worst era in HW boxing. So called best in HW fighting has beens and beaten figthers. Fury is a fraud. Fight Whyte you pathetic coward.

I would love to know how the WBC came to such a conclusion considering they do not stage fights.

If Ruiz KOd Fury it would be hilarious. He'd also have Fury, Joshua, and Parker (allegedly, my brother says Ruiz won 8-4), which would, when age is considered, be the best resume at HW right now by far.

Ruiz is a tougher fight than Whyte. Whyte was massacared by AJ whereas Ruiz sparked him and went the distance in the rematch.

    People really underrating Ruiz here.

This fight is not happening. This is gonna get scrapped because of some reason and they’re gonna offer another decent fighter to Fury that will also get scrapped. The cycle will continue until the rematch with AJ-Usyk is done.

Would Fury be willing to put effort into a fight camp to face Ruiz, because i think sure as hell that Ruiz under Eddy Reynoso tutelage will be.

I put the showing of Ruiz against Arreola in same light as Furys warm up fights before regaining title, return from long lay off. big weight loss and Arreola had got self in best shape he had been in long time.

I for one would not dismiss Ruiz in a Fury match up, he might well ask questions of Fury if opportunity arose.

Ruiz is easy work for the Fury. Ruiz only has one range/distance he can work at.

Fury just has to make sure his footspeed is on point which it wasn't last time out.

I agree with you. Arum dropped Ruiz Jr. and left him in the wilderness. I also think you are right that beating Ruiz would help with marketability, because of Ruiz name recognition in the US and Mexico.
Then there is the issue that this will be a non-title fight so Ruiz won't be able to make undisputed even if he did beat Fury.

So the question remains for everyone, how much do they really think it will cost to get Ruiz Jr. in the ring? More or less than he is willing to offer Whyte, his mandatory?

Yup, think you are spot on with that assessment. No way Arum will pay out to make the Ruiz fight or any other decent opponent; without the WBC title on the line, top fighters will want more money.

It is just a strategy to keep the more gullable Fury fans onside whilst he avoids his mandatory challenger in Whyte. Then Arum can try to jump Fury straight into the undisputed fight, and ESPN will be very happy with the final fight on their $100m Fury contract.

Fury indeed wins if he is anything like in shape and switched on, i just fear Fury does not follow the Muhammad Ali quote of "The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights." (Sadly Ali himself was not looking always in peak condition)

Wish Fury spent little less time exercising his jaw and utilised that time in training environment.

Fury may be able to beat majority despite not being 100% fit/trained, but why take that risk, a opponent could be having a for one night only bout.

Fury has won everytime doing it his way, so the views of a aged boxer like myself, who did not have anything resembling Furys skills are merely just opinons.

This ain't how fighting works. And then you people complain that the best ain't fighting the best.

If Usyk or AJ was free i would suggest Fury goes straight to them, and this is the fight to happen. But they are not. That's why he was running his mouth about them, cause he know they are tied to a rematch.

In order to be called a great champion and the best, you actually should fight the best all the time or most of the time.
Not fought 2 decent fighter in your whole career, and claiming your the best, and the rest of your fights is against garbage level fighters.

You fight the guys that are in top shape, top ranked, and show that you are consistent enough, show that you can beat every style out there and you can deal with guys in shape.
But we all know the "fighting" man ain't nothing like that. He is just one big mouth.
Let's see if he actually face Whyte now, when WBC said he got no way out.
