Fury in talks to fight Zhang

Could be entertaining but if it's PPV I'll stick to the radio.

 

Wonder what ridiculous demands Fury makes this time

 

Fury spends 99% of his time talking, 0.5% fighting and 0.5% ducking these days.

 

I already posted it in the "Opinion Piece" thread. I didn't start a new thread because it hasn't been officially announced.

If Fury fights Usyk in December, then I am not really bothered who he fights in July if he does fight before December. Zhang is coming off a good win so would be a credible opponent, even though he is 40 years old.

 

I thought he was fighting Ruiz?

 

Assume this means Joyce is either not pushing for the rematch or being talked out of it by his own promoter. Maybe he'd be chief support in a comeback fight.

 

Believe it when I see it. He's a joke figure now

 

I’d like to see Zhang get a chance and Ruiz to fight Wilder. Doubt either will happen though.

 

Joyce activated the rematch didn't he?

 

Assume that's just a contractual right and not necessarily Zhang's next fight. If he beats Fury then do it next

 

Zhang would be a good and credible opponent.
It’s fair to be disappointed the Usyk fight never happened but Fury could fight a lot worse than Zhang.

I’d watch and pay for it.

 

I’m still p*ssed no Usyk fight but Zhang has earned his shot, should be a cracking fight so by the time it comes round I will watch

 

Why on earth would you take on a sharp punching huge awkward southpaw who's full of confidence after the biggest win of his career if there's strong talks of a 4 way super show in Saudi at the end of the year ?

Doesn't make sense.
