Fury is a better fighter than Wlad is, but nowhere close in terms of mental fortitude.

He's a more complete fighter than Wlad.

Fury just isn't mentally tough enough to have a long reign.

Wlad's greatest attribute has always been his mental focus, he's always been very consistent, always in shape, showed mental fortitude to come back from the early losses as well, many others would have either quit or just settled for being a gatekeeper but he persevered.

Fury is the more complete in regards to versatility, he has more ways to win as he can approach an opponent in different ways. Wlad developed the jab and grab style and it worked well for a long time until he faced an opponent who could take that away from him and when that happened Wlad had no plan B, Fury under such circumstances could and would try different things, which Wlad is incapable of.

Fury is clearly lacking in the mental discipline to be a long term champion which is what is required to achieve greatness.

not mental fortitude, which is a misnomer since mental illness, which fury has, isnt the same thing as mental weakness (many mentally ill have been the strongest willed people in history). Being mentally ill doesnt correlate to weak willpower.

I think you mean longevity and levelheadedness. Wlads boasts one of the higest longevitys in HW history.

Steward worked with Wlad, Fury, Price, Wilder - all at the same time on one occasion. We all saw the Steward interview where he talks about it.

Steward makes it very clear who the mentally toughest of all those fighters is. And that man is Tyson Fury.

I think he got lucky the first time... He knew he was going to get whooped up in the rematch which was why he kept postponing time and time again. He's the definition of a one trick pony. He faked ankle injuries while being filmed in a bar jumping up and down with fans, he postponed again because he was investigated for doping allegations, now he's shoveling powder up his nose.. pathetic.

And now as it turns out Fury is the mentally most fragile of them all.

He's an effing bum and a fluke. And he knows it, too...

Fury did cocaine, I ultimately couldn't care less what he chooses to snort, but it's not immoral like PED's are in the sport of boxing were you hurt your opponent to win.

I have a lot of respect to Steward but he talked too much.

YOu can't get lucky outboxing a guy for 12 rounds, beating him by at least a 9-3 margin.

Sure you can.. People have bad nights in the sport of boxing.. Castillo got close to beating Floyd with a rotator cuff injury.. in the second Floyd beat him wider. That's just one example.

That was a comprehensive outbox, nothing lucky about it. He fought a brilliant fight. Even Wlad admitted that Fury's range was too much for him. He didn't say he had a bad night. He was just against the better man.

But Wlad didn't have no injury. He was 100.
