Fury is a joke .. canceled the fight against Ustinov few hours before the fight

No, we need more threads about why Pac and Floyd aren't fighting, and about Lennox Lewis against Klitschko.

 

Fury is a coddled joke and he knows it. No way does he nor his corner let him take a guy almost as tall as him and with KO power. The tables turned when they went out of their way to bring in a legit challenger. This was not Travis Walker, a guy who could make 1 round interesting. This was not an old Shannon Briggs who would gas out. I think they were shocked & not sure what to do about such a beast they were in front of.

Yes Ustinov would club his way in & probably setup a boring match that hype-job would win BUT I think we'd see some chin moments against Ustinov. He's at least be the best test yet...Yes Chisora is brave but his power is just not enough for a guy as big as Tyson.

Well thanks the **** for pointing out the bloody obvious yes it's a boxing site but it doesn't mean people have to be dumb enough not to read the forum and not realise there are already threads about the subject and then start another ****er on the same subject . Or perhaps I am crediting people with to much sense :-(

 

How hard is it for people to realise that if there is already a thread on a subject we don't need another one

 

Rarely, a development comes along that warrants as many threads as the folks wish to create.

I have no doubt that Hughie is a loved family member...but unless he became gravely ill during the past 24 hours then what changed?

Add to that the fact that Peter (not Hughie) is Tyson's trainer!

Tyson bottled it...simple as that! His now infamous "I've been stitched up" comment tells you that he didn't really fancy the Ustinov fight, once he took a look at a "live" opponent of similar dimensions who cared so little about fighting Fury he gladly took the fight on a few days notice! So Peter "Pulls the plug" AFTER the weigh-in, in an effort to take the play away from the fact that Tyson bottled it!! At best it reeks of total unprofessionalism (typical for gypos/pikeys) and at worst downright cowardice!!

Such "Team Fury" antics are precisely why a truly great British trainer like Brian Hughes (Who Tyson Fury begged to train him, having called Brian "The Cus D'Amato of British boxing") kicked him out of his gym!!
