Fury fought a dumb fight. Had he muscled Wallin from the opening bell, he would've worn him down and stopped him. Why do we always have these extreme reaction threads about Fury? He's either some technical wizard/unbeatable Superman or he's some crackhead slappy ready to be steamrolled by a pudgy journeyman. Sheesh.
Because he's shilled hard, blags to ATG levels then he actually fights and the reality hits. Until about a week later when all is forgotten and the blagging and shilling starts again. Rinse and repeat.
It was just a lucky punch that opened a cut by Wallin, just like the lucky punch that caused a concussion by Andy Ruiz on AJ. If you watch most of the fight Fury dominated 90%. The other 10% that Wallin dominated was probably due to the cut degrading Fury's performance.
Both Fury and AJ were getting ****ed up in round 1 -- although AJ more-so than Fury. But Fury was definitely looking lost and confounded in the early rounds before the cut. Oddly enough, Fury only started winning after the cut. I assume because Wallin started to gas.
It's the era of the blob heavyweight! Both Fury and Wallin looked like pears at the weigh in. Goddamn, just imagine a prime champ from the 90's right now. Tyson and Holy would go through this bundle of fatboys, geriatrics and bodybuilders like a bull through a china shop. If Povetkin was 3 years younger he'd probably unify
Prime Tua would be so good to watch now. Plenty could have him down on points but on recent performances he'd seem likely to catch all of them. I actually run the davidtuafights youtube channel haha.
Wilder must have really ****ed Fury's chin up if this gassed fart-wristed Euro level fighter had him going in the 12th.
And they wanted to lock me up in an insane asylum for saying that prime Corrie S would spark AJ, Fury and Bum Squad out with that savage lightning Southpaw left of his. Iggy would too and obviously so would prime Michael Gerard Tyson OBE as well.
