His balance is poor. His power is nowhere near commensurate with his size. His chin is average at best. His jab is nothing but a backhand slap/flick. I think any heavyweight with power, decent speed and aggression, and who isn't intimidated by his size will make easy work of him.
He's often subject to exaggeration thanks to his size and his 0 but certainly no one will make "easy work of him".
For a guy who appears to not be particularly gifted, he has done well for himself. I suspect he will be the type of fighter who looks easier to beat on TV than he actually is once you are in the ring with him. He doesn't look spectacular, but, up to now he has shown a surprising effectiveness. Time will tell how far he goes.
Fury vs. Wilder would be fun while it lasts. Both guys could go down from the first big hand that lands. Both guys have qustional chins. Both guys have absolutely horrible defense, leave themselves open like a barn door.
I think he would beat Wilder, if I was Fury I'd be thinking maybe that route is best. Wlad could ruin him.
I agree on your earlier points but do not forget : Fury has phenomenal stamina for a guy his size, and he seems completely fearless/confident during fights (his fearful fiasco against the giant belorussian aside). That, coupled with his height and his ability to fight dirty, makes him hard to beat h2h for even the best guys out there.
