No. But he is now. I agree that Whyte was green and so it wasn't as impressive but look at who Whyte has beat since
Chisora 2*, Parker, Helianous (good win for both Povetkin and Whyte) and Browne

Also it can be argued that Whyte (with one shoulder) did better than or equal to Povetkin

 

Chisora was, is and always will be a club level fighter.

Only Brits talk him up as some killer against the Heavyweight fraud of the Century , David Haye, Lineal Champ Tyson "Schwarz" Fury who bails out of every re match known to man kind.

But what it does show is the talent level of glorified Heavy Bag Whyte..........needing two tries to get by Clubie Chisora, pathetic.

 

Yeah, Chisora is club level fighter.
But how many of Wilder's opponents were better than him ?
FORTY ONE FIGHTS and how many times has he fought above "Chisora-club-level" ?
Stiverne, the man he won the title from, was a club level fighter too.
