The contract offered to Fury is not very good, Fury very much gets the shitty end of the stick no doubt. Hes not getting half as much money as they are hinting at and he hasnt got a rematch clause like some people are rumouring. He could of argued for more but hes thought it over, looked at Wilder and thought "Hes not a very good Boxer and im one of the best in the division". Hes taking that crappy offer and hes planning of wiping Wilder out and taking his belt. And then hes back on top with a world title and negotiating power. Hes took an average offer here to better himself 10 fold in the future. Thats what Wilder could of done, and to be honest at the time the offer Hearn made him wasnt even that bad. Take that awful chicken feed 15 million, beat the man, take the belts and then he is UNDISPUTED champion, an overnight superstar and the riches follow. He should of took that poor offer that wasnt actually that poor and had a think about what comes of it in the future, everything he ever dreamed of. This is something thats happened time and time and time again in this sport throughout the years in all weight classes, the ones who dont see it and want to be payed NOW NOW NOW are usually those that are not confident in themselves and are just looking for a cashout. That fight could of happened by now. Wilder could be sitting on top of the Boxing world as king of the sport. And to those that say both Wilder and Fury are getting paid extremely well for this fight are in dreamland. Contracts are not allowed to be discussed as the fighters have been made to sign confidentality clauses. If they were doing so well out of it and nothing in the contract contradicted the things that Finkel found so unbelievable in Hearns offered contract then there is no way they would want to keep that quiet, it would be just something else to throw in the face of Hearn.
Look at the undercard: Ortiz vs bum Joyce vs Bum Chavez JR vs Angulo? lmao! Showtime knows this PPV will flop so they didn't even bother with the rest of the card.
The problem is Joshua would have flattened wilder out. which only gets him one fight.( His team knows this) With fury he gets two fights should he lose and winning one gets him a percentage with Joshua...just by fighting Fury he gets a % now but he still has to win against fury to even make a Joshua fight anytime soon. Wilder not taking the Joshua fight proves hes not confident bc that came with a 50% 100 million dollar generated second fight but he needed a rematch claus to ensure himself of getting there .
