Holyfield was on heart medicine & he gave Tyson some real life problems... Every boxer that fights or spars with Fury says he is very good. As far as the Vlad fight, Ok Fury did win ...but...at the time Vlad was going through a very traumatic time as his wife had been admitted to a mental institution & was having some kind of a breakdown...so ,well I guess all of us here would have a bad day at the office under these circumstances ? But yes Fury did school him.
fury 2.0 only exists in deluded brit minds. he is same level as wilder. feasted on small bums and washed up guys. ran for the hills when he accidentally became champ.
We'll see. This content is protected Wilder is absolutely awful. He's just a big lanky bum with a punch and long arms. Even CEJ is way more skilled than him. Fury would toy with that clown in his sleep.
Fury is indeed overrated. He didn't defeat old Klitschko impressively. He used a cowardly style, backing off and pot-shotting from a distance, not once trying to stop him or knock him down. And he was a poor sport and demonstrated his weak character in multiple ways. He whined about the padding on the floor and had it removed, and then threatened to pull out because his ex-convict father was late arriving to watch Klitschko's hands being wrapped, so the old ATG heavyweight had to re-wrap his hands. A more honorable man would have had some respect for a great heavyweight like Klitschko. Later Fury twice backed out of the rematch, second time due to mental problems. Joshua demonstrated far better character than Fury, with no low and underhanded tactics in the lead up to the fight. He fought Klitschko with courage, not being afraid to engage, and the fight was MUCH better for the fans than Fury-Klitschko.
I don't know what quite to make of Fury. On one hand he has a signature win, one which any boxer would crave, dethroning ( no matter how dull the fight ) the defacto champ in his given division. On his turf to boot. That's a f****** feather in his cap, no matter how much people try to discredit it. On the other hand, there's really not much else in his back catalogue. Chisora is a gatekeeper, Cunningham had no real business at HW, Kingpin was hitting Prizefighter at that point of his career, and the rest were a level or levels below those guys. But despite all of that, he reached the pinnacle. And apparently did it all whilst being nuttier than squirrel s***. I fear though, that his lifestyle coupled with his sheer size means he's done physically, and I can foresee him coming back against a nobody or two and realising he's done and fading away, or fighting Haye in a meaningless money fight or something. I hope we get to see him against AJ or Wilder because a victory against either of those, especially if they fight before would cement his place at the top, irrelevant of how he got there.
Styles make fights, I personally think.. Fury beats Joshua fairly easy, but loses to Wilder. Joshua on the other hand destroys Wilder.
Vlad fought a good fight at age 41, almost knocked Joshua out and would have if Vitali had not told him to not go for the knockout when he had Joshua drunk! Joshua was almost done for, if Vlad had gone ahead and knocked Joshua when he had him seriously hurt, he would have had the knockout!!!!!!! Fury is 6 feet 9 inches tall and very fast, esp. for his size!!!
Fury has been inactive, recovering drug addict and even when he was actice he was getting dropped by a cruiserweight cunningham and some nobody. Joshua, parker, ortiz and wilder knock him out, especially at this point.
That's not 170 kg. Looks like Fury wants to become the Brad Castleberry (famous fake weights guy) of boxing LOL. On a more serious note: the lard is almost all lost, but he has also lost most of the muscle he used to have.
It's probably more than 170 kg but people think it's lighter because of how easy Fury's gypsy strength makes it look. If Tyson added more muscle and power to his game and was able to retain his speed and agility he'd be unstoppable. AJ, Donkeypotamus, Parker and co would be toyed with and then brutally dispatched. @ facts
