If he can maintain his motivation levels and be a dedicated fighter then it's possible but he will take a loss or two.

I think he'll see out this contract, which I think has 3 fights remaining? That's a Wilder rematch, which if he wins he's got two left, maybe that's the AJ and rematch but I doubt it.

I think that ridiculous fight being mentioned in Sydney or something similar and then maybe a mandatory defence.

Point being, I think he looks to fight out the rest of his current deal without taking the big money AJ unification fight. Then he'll 'retire' and as a free agent he will be able to negotiate the biggest possible slice for the AJ fight(s) which will be the last of his career. Win two times against AJ and he'd hold everything worth having in boxing and he'd be right up there in the all time lists.and retire to the HOF and start training the next generation.

**** fighting till 40. Fury always said he'd met plenty of old fighters who stayed in the game too long and paid a heavy price. He should stick to what he once said. Same goes for AJ, if he can beat Fury he should call it a day.

That's how I'd do it anyway.

Given the problems he'd had I think it almost certainly would be good for him to stay busy and in shape for as long as possible. So many ex sports stars run into problems after retiring; you can very easily imagine it happening to a guy who struggled even at his peak/as an unbeaten lineal & [almost] undisputed heavweight champion.

But pro boxing is, ultimately, so bad for you that It's hardly something to recommend to someone who should already be a millionaire so many times over. He maybe needs to find something else to do?

At his rate (one fight every 4 years) that means he has 2 fights left.

He could just keep fighting Wilder, over and over again, for the next 10 years.

If he can stay motivated, in shape, and focused, then he could put together a special career. 9 more years at world level would give him every chance he needs to move up the ATG list.
But remember who we are talking about guys. Nobody can predict what this man will do. And absolutely nobody should put any kind of faith in to his statements regarding the length of his career. He is all over the place on that subject.

No way. Fury is like Mayweather, a different level to the rest.

Granite chin and super boxer. Fury will only ever lose in a scenario like the Wallin fight where his eye opens up through a cut.

Fury will pick up several losses. Probably get KOed a few times as well. He was beat up by Otto Wallin of all people. Beating a Former D league basketball player with zero boxing ability means nothing .
