The sensible discussion is top 10 currently and possibly top 5 if when he retires if everything goes perfectly between now and then... But GOAT is a stretch

Shall we start to apply the same standard to Ali's opponents? Oh dear. ..

Who would beat him then? Maybe Ali would chop away at his kneecaps.

Fury would be a difficult case for it, because he's yet to defend his titles. A very strange career in boxing history perspective.

I actually rate Ali lower in my top ten then a lot of people... but Foreman, Frazier, Holmes and Liston were very good opponents.

Says who? They all lost to absolute no hopers. This rose tinted 1960s **** has to end now.

Nope. Lewis has huge names of his resume. Alot and I mean ALOT of people think Wilder is just a Bum beater. He can't box. It makes no sense to put him ahead of Lewis and I like Fury.

An OLD Wlad and he threw like 5 punches a round. It's was like Holmes vs Ali.

His win(s) over Klitschko and Wilder surely overrule that. He is undefeated and has fought fighters several times the calibre of Ali's opponents.

I think quite a few modern heavy's would clean up in that time period they are bigger, stronger with better training and nutrition if magically they were there for a fight.. . but when you talk ATG accomplishments matter Ali has them in spades fury has looked great but the dude needs more top tier wins or longevity to even make a serious case for him.

    Joshua.
He beat Wilder. This is not an undefeated Foreman. Relax.

Wow that list is pretty fomidable after spanking Wilder twice, once immediately after drink and drug issues.

But Foreman was unbeaten because he fought a pack of bums prior to th Ali fight.
