Fury is one of the most technically brilliant HW of all time

He's skilled but he isn't a technician. He does plenty of things from a technical stand point that are wrong, but he does other things right and that are very effective.

 

Do you know what technical means?

 

Wilder should massacre this out-of-shape version of Fury. What I saw against Pianeta makes me fear for Fury's health. Everybody knows I bash Wilder but however crap his technique may be, he's got stamina, reach and big power, and I think its going to be enough.

 

Ortiz was 48 when this year and the bell saved Wilder....

That's generally an indication of supposed to win! !

Wilder only took this fight because as always he follows his incompetent advisors and the stupidity trickles down bc Fury is more then ready to win and it's why I pick him !

My point doesn't count though bc when Wilder loses the general consensus will be he lost to a unfit Fury and he will look foolish looking down his resume from start to present !

Even if he wins He will.get the same response to lesser extent ,he knows this!

He should have just took the Joshua fight and got flattened out like everyone else or at least tried to become undisputed but he didn't have that extra support of confidence with no rematch clause....

 

I've very little doubt in my mind Wilder will beat him, Fury's chin is very suspect and he can't KO Wilder. He'll have to fight a perfect fight like he did vs Wlad, except in this case, he's fighting a guy in his prime who's not slow on the draw and is used to fighting safety fights.

Still, Fury is the #3 HW and has been #1 in the past, no doubt about that so if Wilder beats him, you have to say his resume is pretty good then. I'll still rank AJ slightly ahead but if people choose to rank Wilder ahead after that, I'm not going to argue.

 

Technically brilliant? Maybe awkwardly brilliant.

 

Lol ellerbe you're transparent...You're trying to pump up Fury to make Wilder's win (should he do so) look good.. Don't be creepy about it just admit it.

& who admits to being scared about a televised boxing fight? Are you a 12 year old girl? Who are all these technically great HWs that Fury is 'better' than? You said he's one of... So who are these GREAT HWs he's technically better than? They better be good... List please.

Stivene is a ****ing bum.. Looks like a pregnant hippo & Ortiz looks like he's about to have a stroke!

 

His speed and movement/ elusiveness, combined with his impressive skill set .......Add to that his size on top of it, and you have a rare combination of size, skill, and mobility that it’s going to be hard for anyone to overcome


As an individual he seems to be an undesirable low life, trashy, individual.... but as a boxer, he’s easily the best heavyweight out there

He’s also got that X factor of being incredibly gifted but unstable. It’s similar to Ronnie O’Sullivan or Paul Gascoigne in a way. Flawed genius. That’s why no one should write him off either.

The downside of it is obviously the discipline issues (ballooning in weight etc) and that he clearly fights to his opponent’s level. Before Klitschko, he’d looked bad on multiple occasions when fighting poor opponents.
