I say this as an Usyk fan. You saw Fury dominating that fight between rounds 4-7. Nobody has ever dominated Usyk like that, nobody! And only one other fighter has stunned Usyk like that, which was Joshua.

If Fury starts quickly next fight and lands a slightly bigger shot, he could stop Usyk or put him down. Fury should not be disrespected by losing to an ATG in Usyk. If Fury wins the rematch his status all time goes up. Fury beat Klitschko and Wilder and dominated every opponent in the HW division in his generation. He's already an ATG and can solidify it even more with an Usyk win.

Usyk stops him this time. He's got him timed now.

Fury hasn't won a meaningful fight in two years, and wasn't all that close against Usyk.

USYK WILL THROW OUT THE KRIPTONITE EVEN FOR FURY UPPERCUTS the only shots in Furys arsenal than can worry Usyk.

USYK HAS THE NUMBERS OF HIM AND BODYBUILDER.

    Usyk by UD or TKO.

Whatever helps you cope, mate, but Fury lost his 0 - he is now just another chinny bum.

Usyk stops him this time. He’s gonna go to the body early this time and have Fury out of there by 10. Right hook this time starts the trouble. Watch.

    A rare sensible post.
Indeed, Fury is a great heavy and will be dangerous in the rematch.

Nah mate, Fury was badly scarred in all senses of the word—physically, emotionally, and psychologically. He was the best we've seen since the Wilder rematch, and not only was it still not even remotely enough against a 37-year-old, declining Usyk, but he was more hurt than ever before in the ring and arguably knocked out. This stays with a fighter, no matter what they say or put up on their social media. If there ever will be a rematch, Usyk stops him inside 6 rounds.

Fury was indeed doing well for a stretch. But with Fury its all mental. If he can find a way to motivate himself and find the fire again he has a chance. But if he approaches it half heartedly Usyk is gonna turn him to roadkill this time.

Why is it that a possible win projected for Fury over Usyk is the be all end all?

Fury has yet to have a single match against AJ.

He was bloodied, battered and KD’d by pro debutant, then awarded a controversial decision - and somehow dodged being penalised for blatant use of the elbow.

He was then clearly beaten by Usyk in fight that should’ve been stopped in round 9 anyway. For all intents and purposes, it was literally a TKO 9 victory for Usyk.

Yet, for the hopeful, he always remains just one win away from not only redemption but also enhancement to his pre Ngannou/Usyk reputation??

Like Fury’s rating hasn’t lost major ground and his reputation hasn’t been dented beyond a convenient “one fight fix”.

Among other holes in his resume, he should rematch Ngannou to disprove the possibility that Francis doesn’t in fact have his number. Truly great fighters clean up any such doubts in those regards.

After today, it is Usyk’s OWN stocks that have concretely risen after Dubois’ win over Hrgovic.

Usyk will win in a slightly less convincing manner a la Usyk V Joshua 2.

And you look at the fight, and all Fury has done through Round 4-7(he won only 5 and 6, so stop with the 4 rounds narrative), Fury landed exactly 2-3 good uppercuts in this rounds, and a couple of arm jabs.
Everything else was punches on the gloves or thin air.

When it's people going to stop scoring blocking punches or give fighter credit for throwing punches on someone high guard?
Like yesterday that guy that fought Bivol ? Oh, dear 99% of his punches ended in Bivol guard. This ain't scoring punches people.

And lastly Fury won 2 rounds clearly 5 and 6. Round 3 and 4 was close ones, but Usyk won them, based on clean punches landed, total punches landed, more impactful punches landed, being the effective aggressor, and controlling the fight.
7 round was not close at all, clear Usyk all around.
Just like round 12 was not close.

As far as Fury had chances in the rematch ?? Yeah surely, as everyone. Warren just needs to pay the referee and the judges a bit more. We see how they ignored 20-30 headbutts from Dubois the other night.

He could win, but I don't think he will.
Realistically he'll need to fight a totally different fight to beat Usyk, use his size, lots of clinches with his weight on Usyj, dirty boxing, the lot.
Thing is he wouldn't be the first to try it and no one else made it stick yet.
Only other way he does it is if Usyk gets old overnight. Could happen, that sort of stamina is hard to keep up as the body ages, but of a case of Usyk losing rather than Fury winning though.
