    good decision.

Anyone know whether it will be the referee or 3 judges scoring the bout this time?

Perfect ruling. 90 days is more than enough time to re-prepare for a 10 rounder.

I'd assume the ref will be sole scorer again.

All english title fights are scored only by the ref.

Well as long as the ref does a good job this time it'll be ok i guess. I thought they might make an exeption considering the circumstance of the first fight.

Can't really changed the rules for one fight. Might lead to an overhaul of the system tho and have 3 judges or 2 plus the ref as an official rule change down the line. Maybe it'll be looked at after the next board meeting. We can but hope...

    Good. War fatty!

I just hope he doesn't balls it up and put up a no show like he did against Danny Williams second time around.

Otherwise he should just fight O'Conner.

the way i see it mcdermott gets a lot of stick for his flabby appearance, but he has proved that hes fit as ****, this is undeniable when you look at him fight. he is carrying alot of weight and if he lost it all and boiled down he wouldn't be fighting anywhere near heavyweight. so you could say that hes fighting out of his weight class, against fellas who are naturally bigger and stronger than him (muscle mass wise). he was fired upfor the fury fight, he was fit and gave his all, he deserves credit. also there are guys who look slim toned and fit and are anything but, they have just been blessed with good genetics. i bet mcdermot trains as hard as many fighters and harder than some who look alot better than him. rant over

Delighted this has gone to a re-match but I think Fury will KO McDermott this time round. Fury was obviously caught by suprise and didn't expect such a tough fight, I expect him to be better prepared and if he uses his jab it could be a very easy night for the gypo

Agreed, Fury has so much to learn. I like the fact he wants to brawl as boxer, but his main strength has to be his jab, if used effectivelky he can set himself up to really finish these guys off

He needs to put more weight behind it tho. Mix it up a bit between range finders and purposful stiff jabs.

Well, I thought McDermott had his number. I kinda strugle to see Fury turning that into a clear win in the space of 3-4 months... if he does, fair play to him.
