I doubt it, Fury isn't particularly heavy handed. Besides, Wlad being so old would probably tempt Fury into training poorly and turning up in shocking condition (this is fury, remember).
He doesn't need to be, father time is undefeated man, even the Ngannou match Fury would knock current Wlad's head off.
Wow 10 years already hard to believe. Although I never thought much of Fury as a fighter, I was still very excited when he beat Wladimir. I really hoped it was going to usher in an era of boxing being very popular again. I thought the combination of size and Agility along with the costumes, the singing, the personality Etc was going to draw people to boxing. I miss the old light-hearted press conferences, where we didn't have all of this fake manufactured hatred and tough guy attitudes all the time. I thought Tyson was going to be the second coming of Muhammad Ali, poking fun at his opponents and reserving the nastiness and tough guy stuff for the ring. That's why I like Usyk so much, because no matter how much fun he is at the press conference, when it comes to fight night , he is always in shape and is coming to beat your ass. Just like the old time guys.
would still love to see Wlad come back and try it. think it will not happen. would think it would be tempting for Fury at this point. probability for a Fury win would be very high.
They absolutely stank the place out!! Ive seen world title fights with more punches landed in the opening 30secs than that pair landed in the full 12 rounds!! Imagine someone new to boxing watching that night and telling them these are the 2 best heavyweights in the world!?!?
