This is how you deal with a southpaw.

    - Ergashev vs Matias
    - Benavidez vs Andrade

Hard to say how relevant either win is. Neither of the losers had the technical excellence of Usyk, so the winners were able to break through their antics with pressure.

I guess the lesson for Fury is that he needs to be in top physical condition, but it's a little late for that realization!

“Neither of the losers had the technical excellence of Usyk”

    260 pounds of undefeated excellence.

I firmly believe that’s too much for a unified cruiserweight champion.

Usyk is way beyond Andrade’s level but Fury is also much better than Benavidez. It’s a a completely different fight

I never really get the obsession with the whole Southpaw thing. I think it’s massively overrated.

If anything it’s more mental I think. If you believe Southpaws are difficult then they are going to be difficult.

If you "firmly" believe this why does Fury "need to learn" from this event?

Boo Boo and Ergashev are not remotely close to Usyk's level in any way, shape or form

Boo Boo was blowing out of his ass after just three rounds and his offence completely shut down and his defence fell to pieces

Ergashev's did too after the ref refused to allow him to keep Matias at bay by stiff-arming him. He fell to pieces not long after that

Usyk not only has great defence, footwork and slickness, he has a limitless gas tank, an iron chin, an indomitable spirit and will to win

All Fury has to do is put it on Usyk and its night night.

Lots of analysts here and elsewhere clearly have no damn clue what they're talking about.

Fury will beat Usyk and my opinion is the gold standard.

I might be a Fury fangirl but I'm not blind and I'm not stupid

Who ties your shoelaces for you? Honestly.

You started this thread with the title "Fury needs to learn from this event: Benavidez vs Andrade"

I asked you why Fury needs to learn from this event and you state "what event" then say all Fury has to do is "put it on" Usyk implying it's a simple task and Fury doesn't need to learn anything from the event.

My brother in Christ, Fury couldn't even "put it on" versus the slow Ngannou and you think he can against Usyk?

What the hell are you even talking about? Are you a bot or just slow?

Both Fury & Usyk are going to make each other look human.

The only thing that will shine in this fight is both of their indomitable spirits but the man who is natural 50 pounds heavier will take the decision. Which is no shame as historically has been shown the good big man beats the good small man.

I think the best little unless people think Holyriod would better him which I don't think.

Problem is he's facing the best big man. Which people will only admit through torture.
