Who is scared of Fury though? A tubby giant, with great defensive boxing skills? Mike Tyson's persona and highlight reel was so ferocious that people feared getting badly KOd or suffering brain damage. If Fury tried to recreate Mikes ring walk it would look corny as hell.
Mike Tyson's aura was obviously largely manufactured by the media. Eventually it was shown that he would fold under pressure against good opposition. It's actually similar to AJ, being promoted as a great killer, then folding under the pressure of the chubby man.
I dont see Tyson's losses as folding. taking beating for several rounds until he is knocked out i wont consider folding .People fight and they lose the fight. You lose to people that are better than you. There can be other deciding factors why someone loses like injuries , wrong game plan etc. But Tyson fought until he couldnt fight anymore against the people that beat him. His final years dont count because he was clearly 30 pounds past his best weight and cashing out.
