    Lucky shot, lol.

I guess the right hand at the start of the 11th that switched the momentum of the fight was a lucky shot too. Also the 3 left hooks in the 5th that hurt Wlad and led to the knockdown were all lucky as well. And I guess that the fact Joshua out landed Wlad was also all down to many lucky punches. Damn Joshua is such a lucky fighter don't know why he bothers training if he has so much luck on his side, lmao.

Fury won a near shutout on the cards and wasn't seriously hurt once.

Joshua went life and death with Wlad, got within an inch of defeat, and clawed back the win on guts, determination and freakish punching power.

Both impressive victories but for different reasons.

This, I don't see why Joshua fans are ignoring this. It was an exciting fight
because it was fought on even terms, Wlad wasn't outclassed by Joshua,
he was outgunned and outlasted. Fury, completely outboxed him, it wasn't
even a close fight. I've seen nothing that says Joshua could do anything to
handle that version of Fury. The thing is, that version of Tyson pretty much
no longer exists so it may be a moot point.

Neither Jennings nor Fury were on the brink of being stopped either.

This was an EXCELLENT win for AJ, who entered the fight as an LARGELY UNTESTED PROSPECT, and it was an absolute classic of a fight, AJ proved so many things about himself with his performance ..... but the way people are trying to build this win into something beyond that is ridiculous.

"Wlad was better than he'd been in years"
"Joshua did what Fury couldn't do"
"This is passing of the torch"
    No, no, no.
    Wlad wasn't better.
Fury did what AJ couldn't do ... he beat Wlad comfortably and never came close to losing.
Wlad didn't have a torch to pass. He'd lost his last fight, he was attempting a comeback.

Fury threw hardly any punches and did the least amount possible to win. So bad in fact that if Wlad had landed 2 or 3 more punches in some rounds Fury likely would have lost the fight or it would have been a draw. It was a dreadful performance and an awful fight. Joshua scored a stoppage win. That is easily more impressive.

"If" Wlad landed 2 or 3 punches in some rounds .... yes, "IF" .... so why didn't he then ?
And over the course of the fight, he would have had to do that in at least 4 or 5 more rounds to swing the fight.
On the other hand, "IF" Wlad had landed 2 or 3 more punches in round 6 the other night he would have won by brutal KO.

Wlad looked far closer to winning against AJ the other night than he looked at any point in the Fury fight.

    Fury beat Wlad easily.
    AJ barely escaped being KO'd.
That's the reality and you know it.

AJ's performance was incredible though. And it was a great fight.

Fury beat Wlad the same way Wlad beat David Haye. I don't remember you having any problem in the way Wlad defeated Haye. That fight sucked worse than the Fury fight.

LOL the only fight that might be worse than what Fury did vs Wlad was what Haye did against Valuev. Awful dreadful horrendous fights. The only 'exciting' Fury fight I have seen was against Cunningham who was a Glass Jawed Cruiserweight that Fury had to grab, clinch, hold, wrestle, forearm, and foul to beat. Lets not pretend that Fury is Joe Calzaghe throwing 100 punches a round and schooling people. It is anything but.

You didn't even get to see Furys inside game due to Wlads constant holding and leaning. Fury won that fight using only 60% of his capability's

Fury beat wlad with silly antics in & out the ring

He frustrated wlad with silly facial expressions, faints, taunts, ackward & constant foot movement & a accusational jab

AJ whooped his ass with class, skill, timing & ring generalship

AJ fought a fully focused determined & in shape wlad

That was literally the first time wlad ever came back from almost being stopped in a 20 yr career

AJ fought the best version of vlad took his best & hardest punches from left hooks & right hands came back & soundly knocked him out

Its not about being a fan of AJ because im not

What he did was extremely empressive

    What fury did really wasnt

Ah yes the 'inside game' which you told us was how Fury was going to win then he proceeded to stay on the outside and throw as few punches as possible and not engage in a stinker of a fight. Fury's career is over. Not worth even talking about this boring bum again.

Why was AJ able to use his inside game???

Why was AJ able to land uppercuts, left hooks & right hands all through the fight???

Fury land some, he's just not a big enough puncher to hurt Wlad.

Joshua is a big puncher, and clearly landed more hard shots.
