The trouble with Hearn is he doesn't learn from his mistakes. They didn't make the Wilder fight when it was there to be made because Deontay wasn't a big enough name in the UK or something. Remember how he kept trying to make him fight Whyte first to build the fight with Joshua? Well they missed the opportunity to have 2 undefeated fighters going for the undisputed then.

Fast forward 4 years and he's doing the same with the Fury fight. He keeps saying "the Fury fight will always be there". But we all know full well Joshua could pick up another loss, Fury could lose to Usyk, Fury could retire. Sometimes you have to just roll the dice and make these fights when they're available, or else you might end up making Fury V Joshua as meaningless as Brook V Kahn.

Actually, to be fair, the whole reason Joshua got those belts was Fury was retired at the time so the best available was only really Wilder.

Up until the aftermath of Wilder 1, Fury’s comeback wasn’t taken particularly seriously and he wasn’t really even considered a contender in the division.

AJ has a megadeal for three fights with dazn, so I don't necessarily agree with this part. He can make a very handsome living in low risk fights and bring the cheerleading Brits along for the ride with him.

I expect that's the route he'll be led, though I'd like to see this fight made.

I don't understand why Hearn would want smaller fights instead of a massive fight that's guaranteed to be one of the biggest in the UK ever. People will now tune in to see Fury beat Joshua up, that will put a lot of bums on seats.

Unless Hearn knows he can get a Joyce or Wilder fight next, even they would be smaller fights. Then this is the fight to make for Joshua.

AJ ducked Fury for years. Nothing has changed. He wants to follow Canelo and wait till older champions are past their prime to actually sign a contract. Fury should just walk away. Was, is, and always will be remembered as a better champion that AJ. Fury hasnt got to fight AJ for that to be true. AJ needs to fight Fury for that to be changed. Still, AJ has dogged it for years.

I love how people still sound surprised, confused or even angry about what Fury says or does. Anyone who is upset by his behaviour should be more upset with themselves for expecting anything different. I rate him as a boxer and applaud him for his comeback from where he was, but let’s be real about it, he often talks rubbish. He is plain wrong about this one which is why he is getting backlash. I can’t stand AJ at times but he clearly wants this fight and put himself out there for it, to call him a dosser for not signing to a ridiculous deadline is stupid. I am not convinced Fury is ducking AJ, but it’s not a good look for him.

the corny clint avatar was given to me for losing on a bet. i kept it cause i like it, and respect the poster who gave it to me.
as far as the rest of your fart bubbles, i still dont know who you are, like most other posters who you feel should be aware of you. you just never have anything real to say. you just dont know enough about anything to be insightful. to me anyway. im sure there are others who are hearing your warmed over bull**** for the first time, so believe theres some originality in your little tantrums.
all i know is that i gave you permanent butthurt some time back and now you pop up every once in a while pretending we have some type of history. but youre nobody. again, thats just me, im sure theres someone out there interested in your points of view. find them.

But I do know a fraught and indignant pretense when I encounter one, and your compulsion to continually engage with this supposed unknown rather undermines yours (alluding to my exchanges with others does it no favors, besides).

I'll award you a little more credit than you granted me, because I'm a magnanimous guy that way. While your submissions to this forum generally follow a trait of obstinate stupidity, they are rife with insight. Insights into a pathological mental state, that is. Though you are as anonymous as I (in fact, moreso), we do know who you are by this self-portrait you have helpfully drawn for us — a sad, spent, lonely shell of a man trying to convince strangers on the internet that he has a transcendent purpose.

P.S. So much for saying it all with very few words. I especially liked the part where you felt compelled to justify that corny Clint avatar you're lumbered with (another of those authoritative predictions, I'll wager).
