Dude is a Bipolar bum. His manic phase makes him only care about money.

A total idiot. I cheered for Fury for so long to realize maybe a non Bipolar fighter is much better. The problem is these manic phases make them totally delusional and money hungry. His mental health has ruined him. Dude is far gone and delusional, just like other manic people.

    He needs that Lithium

If he continues to duck Usyk his legacy is in the trash.

If he never fights Usyk, then yes, his legacy is crap. If he was really just waiting for that saudi money and fights Usyk in december, then i think the initial "ducking" will be forgotten.

Destroyed his reputation a second time, after rebuilding it quite remarkably following the AWOL years and UKAD scandal. That's pretty rare.

Literally all he had to do was be verbally respectful to Usyk, do 50/50 or even 60/40 with a 60 for the winner in the rematch and make the fight. They could still do a rematch with the Arabs if they were so desperate. They could even cancel and reschedule probably.

Fury could still have some tongue-in-cheek taunting with Usyk if he wanted but just tone it down.
His fans would stick with him, others would jump on board.
Hearn and Joshua would be miserable.
Fury could do another single with Robbie Williams, maybe do one with Usyk and Williams called 'Feel'. Give the money to Ukrainian orphans or whatever. Pretend he's charitable.
Win or lose Fury could ride off with everything pretty good for himself.
This is how easy it was.

Fury's mental health was just an excuse, when he ducked the Wlad rematch and failed the drug tests. I bet his mental health is not an issue. He is just a piece of ****.

I'm in no way defending Fury, but mental illness is very real, truly awful.
We may never know the complete truth. We only know what he tells us........and that changes from week to week.
It's probably best not to take everything he says as the gospel truth.

I'm not disputing his mental health problems but as a professional boxer his drug, drink and lack of proper training attitude is not defendable. He has lost many peoples respect and in my opinion will never get that back regardless of who he fights.

I agree for me hes rated similar to Bowe atm, but the difference is this would be like Bowe avoiding Evander Holyfield instead of Lennox Lewis. But atleast Bowe did fight one great fighter Fury hasn't yet.

I don't know how much he cares about his "legacy" in the first place. That seems to be more of a boxing public thing.

Right now. It’s kind of got a sad Riddick Bowe tale to it, but less extreme, maybe a mix of Dempsey and Bowe.

Ok Fury is undefeated, but he has 3 fights against Wilder, which is where the Bowe comparison comes in. We had Bowe vs Holyfield but we never got to see him with Tyson & Lewis

And the Dempsey comparison comes from him (so far) missing out on the other 2 best heavyweights of his generation (Wills/Greb)

Hopefully he can reconcile this, but if he doesn’t get in the ring with Uysk before his career is up, there will be constant clouds looming over his career, that he refused to fight the next best heavyweight in the division that was 50lbs lighter than him

Of the top four Heavyweights of this era Fury is the only one of them to actually fight Wilder, let’s not forget that !
