I suppose this isn't as bad as Chisora being ranked #9 prior to that having won no meaningful fights (except 2x vrs. Sexton if you count that). But it ain't right.... The British and Commonwealth titles are clearly given too much weight in the Boxrec formula--to the point of making prospects look like Top 10 contenders.
He basically just took the spot from Chisora. Yesterday Chisora was Boxrec #9 at heavyweight, and Fury was #30. Fairly big jump.
I thought that the Chisora - Fury will be on the higher boxing level, I was even thinking before the fight to put the winner on the #10 place on my list. I think Fury ranks about 15-25 in the division right now. He can beat Sosnowski or Chisora, but he cant beat Arreola or Solis.
fury handled himself well yesterday and took care of business. he can't beat either kiltschko but if he sticks around long enough and keeps winning maybe he can get a shot at a belt after the brothers retire. fury is a still a youngster and is very limited but he can have some success as long as the heavyweight division is going to be this weak.
