Hopefully he just fights the very best.

People really can't clock patterns on here. Tyson has a big time dose of imposter syndrome. You give him a crack at a belt and he's a demon. You get him to defend on the regular against the best and he's the most unreliable champ at heavy in decades.

I remember a his interview if I'm not mistaken around Wilder II when he said new hungry lions were about to appear on the heavyweight scene. You can see that even then he had understood that beating Wilder alone would not have been enough to guarantee him a lasting glory. Now those new lions have appeared on the scene and he has begun to duck them like Wilder made before him. My opinion is that he knows that his record is about to falter under the blows of the new lions (and of the old too) and he is trying in every way to create a hyped false image of undisputed king IN WORDS and to set as many farce bouts as possible before retire, hoping to have the strength and the resistance or find effective tricks in the middle to beat some of today's top fighters if forced to face one among them by WBC. The problem is that in the current state of things he and Warren are capable of messing everything up in order to duck especially Usyk and Joyce who they know are in the ascendant phase while he is already in decline. So its impossible to know how things will end.

    100% true.

There's even a BT poster about him on twitter months back where he said Chisora would be his last opponent. Everybody laughed, but Tyson was adamant it would happen. And here we are.

It's clear as day that Tyson would never clear out a division. He's too entitled and demands tune ups ffs. He's a joke of a champ.

Tyson Fury is 5 different people

Which Tyson Fury is talking is easy to determine

People make many silly claims about Fury, the most ridiculous being he is scared or ducking opponents. Tyson Fury will fight any man born from their mother. It's the business side of the sport that stops bouts happening.

He will fight Usyk next year and people will still complain. He'll eat Usyk like a piece of processed cheese and people will cry that Usyk was too small. Then they will DEMAND Fury fights Joyce, despite Usyk having a rematch clause.

All whilst Hearn is on twitter claiming Fury HAS to fight AJ to prove he is the man in the sport because AJ only lost to Usyk because he was on his period.

This sport is a joke in till people give Fury his praise as the one true king. He talks the talk and walks the walk.

and I know it's hard for people to accept that because pretty much anyone who talks the talk out of this current generation gets slapped. Fury is different though.

He will be obliged to face top fighters like happened to Joshua with Usyk for the WBO. It's different.
if it were up to him now he would only face fighters who guarantee him 0 risk of ending up in some hospital but he cant duck the federation or the Fate as that time the dumb chose Wallin thinking he was easy to beat like Schwarz and he was close to losing the title as Joshua with Ruiz. Boxing is always a trap even if a fighter tries with all his means to hold a title as much time as possible. Heres why boxing its an incredible sport.

Maybe he meant retire 20 more times. That would make more sense.

Talking rubbish. Fury isn't in the sport to fight no hopers or defend belts. He's here to smash the supposed toughest opponents, all of whom are a walk for Fury. The only shift is Joyce is a tougher opponent today for Fury than he was 5 years ago.

Fury went to opponents backyards as the B-side as the underdog against reigning multiple defence champions and HE BEAT CARP OUT OF THEM.

Only difference with Usyk is it will be on "nuetral" ground.

No point Fury fighting Wilder that series is well done,ok we’re not happy with Fury serving up Chisora next, nobody is ! 2023 is when the big fights need to happen,no excuses from any fighters just get the fights made. Fury v Usyk Wilder v Ruiz throw Joyce in the mix and Hgrovic due to him also being a mandatory, meanwhile Joshua rebuilds and may once again be amongst the titles. All these potential match ups can happen next year and simply put they need to .

I find the fact people on this forum still brandish around the mentally ill card as though it's setting to be ashamed.of - very backward.

He will fight challenging opposition only when he absolutely has to. Otherwise he will be on the easy opponent / strategic retirement plan.
