Fury officially stripped of IBF title

    I think the IBF belt gets passed around in 2016 until someone like Joshua gets his shot. Pulev/Povetkin/Haye (2012 version) and possibly Teper all take out the top two. It's a messy situation that really makes no sense from a financial point of view.

    I like how the bbc headline semi hints it might be down to his paedo/gay views, only explains at the bottom of article it's unrelated.

    The bottom line is Wlad made a voluntary defence and therefore the rematch clause breached the IBF rules. Wlad could have had a comeback Fight whilst Fury made his IBF defence and the rematch could have taken place afterwards
    IBF do stick to rules compared to the other bodies and get a lot of stick as a result
