whichever way it goes, it will be joy to see one go out but misery to see one win, if that makes sense.
Team Fury for me He only lives round the corner from me. Nearly ran him over once when he ran across the road in front of me. Imagine the damage he would have done to my car !
Divided loyalties. As a Brit I'd like to see Tyson come out with the win. But Wilder/Joshua is the fight I really want to see. A Wilder win is better for the division and sport as a whole. I will be hoping Wilder pulls off the win, but would be happy if Tyson does the business in the champ's back yard (again). Above all, I hope it's a good fight and not a massive anti-climax.
Wilder for me. I like both of them, but just prefer Wilder's fighting style. My only hope is we get something fairly emphatic for either one. I also have concerns Fury is going to go off the rails again should he win and gets inevitably ****ed about by Hearn, in which case we'll have another 18-24 months of pissing about. Anyone who thinks Eddie is lining up to arrange a showdown with the winner of this is dreaming. It's double-bubble if Fury wins because Eddie knows he's hardly likely to live like a monk in the I would guess 18 months it's going to be while AJ feasts on the like of Miller and Pulev. Wilder had a point when he said Fury had his moment and wasted it.
Fury vs Joshua for all the belts in the UK would be one of the biggest fights in history so thats just one reason why im pulling for Fury. Im no Wilder hater but i kinda want him to get splattered for the 400 year war malarkey he's bringing up out of nowhere. No need for that in sports.
It really depends on how great you think Wilder is. As I've said before, Washington, Jennings, Stiverne, Ortiz and Wilder. If you think overcoming this legacy of fighters is historically significant, YDKSAB.
Tough one because i like both guy's however, i am a fan of the true sweet science and like to believe it beats power and athleticism every time, wilders boxing iq is underrated imo but fury for me is a boxing sweet science purist, people may say i am crazy but fury very much reminds me of mayweather in many aspects.
