More than one person can come across that way. Tyson is like a 12 year old throwing his toys out the pram because someone else is more popular than him.

He's been slating other fighters his whole career. He ridiculed Steve Cunningham and Dereck Chisora. I doubt it was because they were more popular than him.
It's called building up fights, trash talking.

I like Fury. He comes across as tongue-in-cheek, he surely hasn't expected all you lot to take his words so seriously , unlike David Haye, who actually tries to convince people (and himself) that his bullsh!t is valid.

Absolutely spot on. The guy has ruined so many otherwise enjoyable threads. A real shame he's still here.

Frank Bruno wasn't very good? Very similar record to Joshua's before he was beaten, plus he had to earn his title shots, wasn't handed them on a plate like Joshua. Also look who frank had to fight for the world title.. Tim Witherspoon, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Oliver McCall lol... A who's who of heavyweight boxing, not poxy Charles Martin!!

Well if the aim of being a disrespectful moron is to get people to dislike him then he should have no complaints about his current situation. Yet he seems to be pretty annoyed about the fact he gets no respect and is unpopular with the general public.

Fury, Team Fury, People close to Fury claim the disrespect and dislike comes from him being a traveller. Honestly I don't know, I've never personally experienced racism but I know people who have and people on the end of covert racism it see a mile away.

The media do seem to show Fury a genuine lack of respect but crawl up Joshua's backside for beating what a lot of very knowledgable boxing people described as the worst heavyweight champion for a very long time. The reaction to last Saturday was way over the top when you compare it to the reaction of Fury beating Klitschko.

We all know about Joshua's past but that's been glossed over, sometimes not even mentioned, ignored because he is now the golden boy/hero and every hero has to have a villain to battle, the old battle of good and evil and the media have decided Fury is the dark side.

Why? Well Fury fits the bill, a traveller, doesn't look the part, makes no apologies for who he is or where he comes from. Also Fury made a few comments, some tongue in cheek and some rather offensive a while ago and that obviously can't be forgiven or forgotten.

But the media has the attitude of... Let's just forget Joshua's past problems with drugs and the law, poor little AJ was just a young man who lost his way but found boxing and he is on the straight and narrow now. AJ is a "role model" who looks the part, and is a "hero" to young children, Joshua can speak to the wayward youths because he is proof there is a better path to tread  I find it patronising.

It's very predictable from all sections of the media, Joshua is a "great story" and Joshua has learnt to play the part very well. Joshua has sold out in many ways while Fury has just been himself, given straight answers to questions he was asked, spoke his mind and is his own man.

There's a reason the media and country and behind Joshua and not Fury, no matter how much of a **** fast car is.

Joshua is articulate, good looking, care free, athletic and brilliant with the media.

Fury is a ****ing clown whose antics belong in a circus along with the rest of his backward incestual family. There's a reason companies don't want anything to do with him.

Wlad can do boxing a favour when they fight and get rid of this joker.

Bruno had 29 fights before he fought witherspoon, that was my point. Witherspoon who was a proper fighter, not a Charles martin.

I quite like Tyson Fury but a lot of what him and his dad said was complete bull****.

    1. Its not Joshuas fault IBF stripped Tyson. Whats he meant to do? No thanks I dont wanna take the world title fight because I feel what happened isnt fair?

    2. The media DID make a big fuss about him dethroning Klitschko. But that was months ago now. You can't expect them to keep hyping that win so much later

    3. I agree in general that the press are far further up AJs ass than he deserves. And I agree Tyson probably doesn't get the respect he deserves. But guess what, a lot of that is down to the ****e that Tyson sprouts himself. Not that I disagree with all of what he says but what do you expect? In this PC culture do you really expect the press to get behind the stuff he's been coming out with?

    4. You can't have it both ways. Either you play the game and say all the right things, whether thats the REAL you or not, and get the adulation as a result, or you keep it real, be yourself and say what you like, and get trashed for it. You cant have it both ways

Joshua is a media muppet , being fed every line by Eddie ,, Tyson is his own man , Joshua has a shaky past and probably a couple of law abiding citizens for parents ,, Fury comes from a familly of drug dealers , violent nutters and obviously because of his skills and there faith in him kept apart from a shonky way of life ..

Picture on the left wall -Joshua , big muscle bound steroid head , handed a olympic medal, being groomed by Edie and the media , hiding his true self , but occasionaly letting it slip , especielly when you look at his body , his condition ect , and you smell cheat

Picture on the right wall-- Fury big , goofy and his own man comes from a background where he could of gone haywire , but has kept in check ,, says what he thinks , and is definetly not media trained , just very street smart and knows how to sell himself and a fight , unbelievable faith in himself and beat the Man .

Which do you prefer ,, me its Tyson ,, picture myself living next door to these two , and would imagine Fury to be a good neighbor , someone who would call over the fence and shout , We got a few extra chooks laying here , you want a few eggs , someone who would say , do you mind if i park my caravan in your yard for a month while my drive way gets tarmaced , you can use it whenever you want , , someone who would have a beer with you and say our kids are fighting leave them too it they'll sort it out , but still reprimand his kids if they were taking a liberty .

Joshua , well to start with he would'nt live next door , he would'nt have chooks , he would'nt own a caravan , and if he came to see you about your kids fighting he would make sure it went his way ..

Take the cameras away and i know who i would prefer

Thats all well and good. And for what its worth i prefer tyson too. But then he cant complain about not being as marketable and popular because thats the price you pay for always speaking your mind and rubbing people up the wrong way. Thats just the world we live in
