FURY press conference.. Classic

  1. Yes he does go out of his to mock/wind up the media, but the media have a free pass to mock who the hell they want on a daily basis, but I don't see large groups gettin up in arms about that and setting up petitions/campaigns against it? So I'm on the side of the individual, not the state funded media who always have an agenda.

When characters like Fury come along, it should be celebrated and used for fuel to support more freedom of expression in the media not as a catysylst for using more suppression of character.

Have you ever heard interviews from footballers? They ALL repeat the same garnage after every game, like they're clones of eachother. It's one reason why i love boxing so much, because the fighters are under no obligations to toe the party line to appease the inhibited hive mind.

agreed. Its why I'm a fan of Tyson Fury!

I love it when someone sends it back to the media. The way he deals with them with utter contempt and trolling is brilliant. I think maybe 20% of his answers are genuine. He's trolling them every chance he gets. I love it. But John Fury going off on one the other day is kind of admitting defeat, admitting it gets to them how the media are. In any case I dont think Tyson really gives a toss what the media think of him and I like that

This to an extent. After his title win he's been quite reserved but he still needs a bit of advice on how to conduct himself, especially at pressers.

Fury is a very knowledgable bloke when it comes to his boxing- I hope Boxnation use him in that role going forward for all sides.

  4. Welll John Fury is a man who gouged another man's eye, so I have no time to listen to that baffoon. He's a leecher, hogging the spotlight due to his son's success while he was inside.

I said in another thread, they need to do away with harping on the persecution complex. In a way you are right, they should expect it if they choose to be that way, so it should be water off a ducks back.

Highlight it, but don't cry about it.

thats exactly how I feel about it. If you're strong enough to be that way and be yourself then you have to be able to take the ****e you get in return. Which to be fair, tyson fury does! it's just John Fury like you said who lost the plot. Tyson highlights it but laughs it off and then does what he wants. John threw a serious hissy

I watched the press conference back there and its hilarious when John started off on his rant. Tyson is there laughing his head of off and turns to Mick like 'this will be good' . Hughie gives a look over Johns shoulder to his dad peter like ' ffs dad his going to go off on one again'.

And peter is just sitting there quiet with an emotionless look on his face as his a smart man and he knows there's nothing he can do so he just has to roll with it

John clearly has issues. He says that he loves facts and speaks truth and also projects himself as a 50+ man who would get in the ring with anyone and do a good job. Here's the truth. He had 13 fights, only won 8, and has the singularly most impressive knockout percentage of any heavyweight with 13 fights at a staggering 0%.

Never mind all that, did you pay out on the bets you laid on here? If you didn't then **** off back to whatever rock you decided to hide under when Joshua dismantled your sure fire pick, Charles Martin.

  11. How about you get a life, boy and stop getting involved with things that do not concern yourself.

I never hid from anyone or anything.

Pay your debts or log off. If you want to give it the big 'un about your bank balance and the delight you're going to take in taking other people's hard earned money then you should have the decency to pay up. After all it's nothing to you right?

You're a lying weasel who talked a big game and got caught out, it's a simple as that.

PP's what we call a gigatroll but he's entertaining nonetheless. In amongst the flannel are some pearls of wisdom. Overall good value imho unlike tourettes lad and spam artist Optimus Dime who's just a pain in the neck.

We've seen plenty of bet welshers on these boards over the years. They live with it forever hanging over their heads. Sometimes a life sentence is worse than a death sentence.

  14. Get the hell outta here kid... this ain't nothing to do with you.

Why are you not stalking those schmucks who promised to meet up and wasted internet bandwith creating 30 pages of posturing?

Why am I gonna pay a person who postures around, is a renowned troll, not to mention for a rigged fight. Or you gonna tell me that rigged fights don't happen in boxing?

Would you pay out for a fight between a WWE wrestler if it's the first time you are watching wrestling, you have no internet connection to know it's all scripted, but you believe that both fighters are going to fight for real?
