I think a lot of it comes down to how prepared you are to take the punch when it arrives. Similar to knockouts. Its the ones you dont see coming.

With joshua you can see his punches coming more. The body prepares for it and it feels like the powers less because of it. The body gets less time to prepare for furys punches than joshuas therefore making it feel more powerful. Or something like that anyway

Well force is equal to mass times acceleration, punches tend to become stronger when someone weighs more(given accel is constant)

Greedy Belly has a KO 70% and 3 of the fighters who took him the distance were stopped in their rematches against him, 2 of them twice

He's also obviously suffered with discipline issues and not turning up in the best of shape

He was a shadow of himself for Dosser I, Pianeta, and even Ngannou.

And he's also fought some very durable fighters who rarely get stopped like Chisora (who took him the distance in their first fight), Kevin Johnson, and Zack Page who both took him the distance

Johnson has only been stopped x 3 in 60 fights and 2 of those were when he was past his prime

Page has only been stopped x 5 in 68 outings and most of those were when he was shot or past his prime

    And those guys fought everyone

Greedy Belly can definitely crack when he wants to

I’m actually surprised when some folks say that 280lb person who has boxed his entire life can’t punch. He may not want to most of the time due to his preferred style, but be certainly knows something about biomechanical leverage and can summon it on demand to deliver a crushing blow.

Yeah, he's a huge guy with long arms who can throw every punch in the book and it's not like he's ever been some kind of featherfist who rarely stops anyone. He's always been able to crack when he wants to

I think it's funny when people describe the difference between AJ and Fury punching (speed, timing, technical work vs raw "power") only to conclude that because Fury has better form that he indeed is the harder puncher.

Doesn't matter how strong you are if those shots aren't landing flush

Wouldn't put much stock into what Allen is saying because he also claimed previously that Usyk had him totally out on his feet.

Doesn't really matter what Allen says or who hit him the hardest in sparring. Anyone with even a basic understanding of the HW division knows that AJ hits the hardest of the 3. That being said he better train hard for his next fight because he might find out the hard way of who the hardest puncher he's faced professionally is.
